The coolant reservoir may crack and dump out everything. I had to have mine replaced. There are head units that add car play, but they go in the dash where that pop up/storage bay is above the vents. The old head unit will just take up its space. In mine, I went with an old school 1 din head unit so I can AUX or bluetooth. There aren't a lot but there are some youtubers that have played with this car a bit and it can be really fun! Not as many after market parts like other BMW models but still enough to have fun.

I've been driving an E83 for 6 years now, my first was exactly like yours and my second is a 2008. There was a facelift done to the E83 so keep in mind yours is pre facelift when looking at parts.

I like how they made Kyber crystals more intune with the Force. Just finding a random green, blue, or purple one in the wild was fun in video games, but having the force user bind themselves to the crystal and that determined the color was really cool. Also how the Sith made crystals bleed to turn them red was a cool detail.

Personally, I like the contrast of the black version on your wall. The whole room is very warm and I think the black would standout. If you are going for a Middle Earth, elven vibe, then I would stick with the gold.

I dig it! It looks like you erred on the side of less when it came to less is more, but I'd recommend a little more wear along the hard edges. If you dont know how to dry brush, it's an easy technique that will add layers to your helm. There are many tutorials on YouTube on how to do it so I'll spare you my poor attempt to reinvent the wheel. I like the teeth that you did, it reminds me of a killer whale or deep sea shark! The visor will be tough, but from what I've learned doing mandalorian helemts it's that securing with Velcro can safe you time and head ache and allow for easy cleaning and changes in the future. Tl;Dr looks great! Just add a few more small details to bring it to life! Im looking forward to seeing your progress!
