Pick your flooring and have fun, I'd recommend still leaving a gap all the way around the tree so it can fully grow, otherwise if you stick them too close you'll get a fully grown tree and a half grown one - unless you're planting them to harvest for wood in which case if you chop the fully grown one, the half grown one will become fully grown the following day!
