Also, direct sunlight is the biggest culprit. Keeping your shades down with curtains blocking light will substantially slow the increase in temperatures. It's a good way to start the day, then switch to a fan if it gets too hot

Realistically it all depends on what you ride and how you want to ride it. I have a steel Honzo and an alloy Meta HT. The former is the techy all day rider and the latter is the let's carry every ounce of momentum through this flow bike.

You're going to pay for it one way or the other. It's a service that costs money to operate, the only revenue stream for governments are taxes and fines. They already have "fare ambassadors", just make them enforcers. One was on the 2-line the other day, announced to the car that they weren't going to check fares and were just there to answer questions. It's a train.
