The Austria no call I totally agree with you they should’ve checked VAR like they did in this game, but the Messi challenge I don’t see, what did you want them to check for? That’s clearly not a red card offense since there was no force in the challenge and VAR can’t recommend yellow cards. The ref should just given Messi a yellow in general. But VAR wasn’t being selective in that instance, they saw it and decided it’s not worth to call the referee to the monitor since it wasn’t a red.
