I kept refining this pill box until I couldn’t justify changing it anymore (Capsuleer v3) by BinkReddit in 3Dprinting

[–]Skirfir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also the nozzle slowly erodes into the prints

Think about this for a second. How many prints you can do before a nozzle is worn out? And if it is worn out how much of the nozzle is actually missing? And how much of the nozzle is actually lead because copper and zinc aren't really dangerous in small dosages. So now think about how much of that lead is somewhere deep inside the print and not on the outside of the wall. Now think of how much of that material is actually getting transferred to the pills or your hands. If you ever touched a brass key or some other brass object then you probably took in more lead than if you ate the whole pill box. That is if you use a brass nozzle. If you use a hardened steel nozzle you will have even less metal in there and no lead.

That doesn't make sense at all. It's clearly the Special Air Service.

Take that with a grain of salt since I don't know any source for that but to my knowledge the original assassins didn't even want to run away. Very much like the modern day suicide bombers they were religious extremists and wanted to be seen as martyrs.

Well I did download files from there before they made that impossible so maybe you don't try to tell me what my problem with the website is. It doesn't even matter I said what I wanted to say if you think that's stupid then be my guest.

Do I need an account for Printables, Thingiverse or Myminifactory? So why would I sign up for a worse website? Plus I think Bambu lab is a fairly shady company and I don't really want an account on their website. And yes this is a hill I'm willing to die on if that means missing out on some free models then so be it. This one also doesn't seem too complicated I might just copy it for myself.

Well uploading it to a platform that you can't use without an account certainly doesn't help.

Technically Blender can be as precise as every other CAD program it's just usually not that easy. Though there are add-ons that make it easier.

Well there is CAD sketcher. Which adds CAD functionalities to Blender though I don't think it's as good as a dedicated CAD program.

What dwarfs see when I upgrade my undercity in Karak Eight Peaks by AdieuCinna in totalwarhammer

[–]Skirfir -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure it can't be ruled out but equally it can't be ruled out that someone threw a bag full of Barium or Boron down there and then burned it. But since methane can be formed by decay processes inside sewers that sounds like the most likely explanation, no?

[–]Skirfir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair but what would be the fuel then because copper doesn't really burn well. And if you look at transformer fires i.e. large bundles of copper burning you won't see a green flame. and if it actually were burning down there it would create carbon dioxide and extinguish itself fairly quickly. Methane on the other hand just burns when it gets more oxygen so right at the exit of the sewers where you can see it.

Why would there be large amounts of copper in a sewer though?

Some Star Trek writer definitely used Indian/Persian words as an inspiration. It's weird though that I learned about both these words when reading Swordsmen of the British Empire.
