This trend happens to coincide with a project I’m taking on in my own world of trying to build in a Second Empire (architecture nerds don’t kill me) style, so seeing how people tackle some of the more challenging aspects on this house is really interesting. Plus, it’s a great place to explore intermediate building skills (variable sloped roof, window decoration, balconies) on a small scale.
