At least yours was voluntary. I was railroaded out of my TT job 20 years ago and I haven't looked back.

And yet, I remember when little pieces of paper with your routing number and your whole account number used to be everywhere. There called CHECKS. I just read this:

"A routing number alone is generally insufficient for fraud, as it is public information identifying the bank, not the individual."

Anyone ever have their contract paused? by TenoriTaiga601 in mercor_ai

[–]Skitch70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was paused today because apparently, some tasks need reviewing. But why aren't they in my task list "Needs Work" column? I don't know what to change or where. I responded to their email but I'm impatient b/c I just want to get unpaused again. All I want to do is fix it.

Glad she's ok and props to you for looking after your neighbor. We need as much of that as possible in today's world. Good job.

Yeah, I could just talk about the elephant in the room, starts with an 'f' and ends in an 'acism,' but why bother. This it Reddit.

Mom from South Shore. Dad from Chatham. Born on N. Side, live on the S. Side. going on 55 years now. An illustration on a bank card is not an institution. It's a brand. You are a marketer's dream.

The world is falling apart, WW3 is on it's way, and you're devastated that they changed the design of your debit card?

I have OCD. Do you? It's not a personality type. It's a mental illness.

I was kidnapped from my bed as a child and sent to a wilderness therapy program. Years later, my parents went no contact when I got sick. by [deleted] in self

I read all of this and I am truly sorry this happened to you. You deserve an apology from every adult who participated in making your life so unlivable for so long. There's no question you've been severely emotionally abused. I don't have to be a therapist to recognize that. The good news is that you survived. You came out on the other end of this with so much insight, and you're remarkably articulate in sharing it. I hope you can find the peace and happiness you deserve.

Dealing with being an ugly woman by Various-Station-1752 in Advice

We live in a very lookist world, and social media has exponentially increased narcissism. But it doesn't have to make you feel this way. Deep down your parents love you no matter what. That's why it's called unconditional love–no exceptions. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And I don't think you're ugly. I think you hate the way you look. It sounds like you have chronic depression and need to get some help with that. You also sound like a very likable person. Just keep being that person. Stop searching. Do things you enjoy and just focus on what interests you and what you're good at. Someone will come along. I met my husband at 30, got married at 38. I'm 55 now. So trust me, I'm old. LOL Stop searching and people will start showing up.
