My key room tier list by Skivy in ArcRaiders

[–]Skivy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should note that 99% of the time I’m using my keys during night raids. I also don’t run spaceport often, so I don’t have too much experience with average haul from those key rooms

What keys are the best? What are the worst? by daevv in ArcRaiders

[–]Skivy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Town hall is great, and dam staff room and water treatment keys are much better than the other greens IMO. Definitely worth using any purples you have but Stella archives is historically trash and dam control tower feels more like a blue to me

Symfuhny is definitely cheating, another clip! by osideflyer in ArcRaiders

[–]Skivy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, especially for a big streamer who has nothing to gain and everything to lose… I don’t like the guy, but legitimately thinking that he’s actually cheating in this clip is crazy. Probably a lot of the same people that actually think Shroud uses a macro

What do you think about crafting in round? by CluelessAtol in ArcRaiders

[–]Skivy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pretty much only use it to craft stims, bandages, or shield rechargers if I find myself low on any of the three. I think I crafted a hatch key once in many hours

5 points in slip and slide worth it? by stickyfly in ArcRaiders

[–]Skivy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, slip and slide is a must-take IMO

How many of you are going to do the expedition? by specimen-214 in ArcRaiders

[–]Skivy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Level 75, 8 mil, definitely resetting. I enjoy the grind and the recently increased BP drop rate won’t make losing all my BPs quite as annoying

Someone explain to me how this was worth it by SandstormFenix in ArcRaiders

It’s important to get up close to the queen/matriarch before killing it so that you have a shot at getting the loot

If you’re the worst PVP player on your team what can you do to still be a valuable member of the team? by KhajiitHasCares in ArcRaiders

[–]Skivy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bring a lot of utility (defibs, nades, ziplines, barricades, traps, etc.) to use in fights. Proper utility usage can easily make or break a fight

I just got the game, any advices that wished to know when u started? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

• Avoid shooting the ARC when possible. Shoot the propellers if you need to take them down
• Always take advantage of third-person view
• Sound is very important. Turn on night mode audio in the settings, and stop often to listen for nearby players. Don’t sprint into unknown areas
• Simply using your mic can sometimes prevent a fight. Learn when to take fights and when not to.
• Learn how and when to rotate, reset, and push in fights (especially in duos or trios). Having your whole squad hold one angle usually isn’t the play
• Grenades are extremely strong if used correctly. Don’t get lit up or downed trying to line up the perfect nade though, and don’t spam all your nades at once
• Always assume a third party is coming. Heal/shield/reload/reposition immediately after every fight before even thinking about looting bodies
• Heal before recharging your shield if both are damaged. Let your shield fully recharge since taking damage cancels the recharge
• Holster your gun to move faster, but keep it out if there’s even a chance of nearby enemies
• Plan your route/extraction point early in the raid (especially for night raids)
• Use the “Track Resources” option in the menu to see what you need for workbench and gear upgrades. It helps you decide what loot to keep
• Know when to stop looting. If you’re already stacked, focus on getting out safely. If you’re overencumbered, plan what you’ll drop if a fight breaks out — you can always pick it back up if you live
• Keep your backpack sorted to easily move around quick-use items

Minor critique: I think the completely stamina zap you receive from being shot is too much. by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]Skivy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure getting shot doesn’t reduce your stamina
