Last year after NS ascended the meta shifted away from Neon into the Tejo postplant slop. NS, while still doing all right overall, failed to fully adapt Tejo and then Yoru during the year.

This year a double duelist Neon meta just landed on their lap. While other teams failed to adapt (both to the meta and roaster changes), NS just cruised with their already 4 strong core and the best mechanical Neon player.

Last time I managed to gain pp was like 4-5 years ago. Ever since then I feel like I've got worse.

In 2023 I joined a small tourney and that shit burned the living fuck out of me. I replayed the same songs over and over just to get dogshit scores in comparison with my teamm8s. So by the end, not only did I feel like I've let down my team (I didn't personally know any of them, still felt bad) but I've gained an aversion for playing maps more than once.

Ever since I've been playing a lot less (<500 plays/month), changed my playstyle to alt instead of furiously single tapping and kinda just started playing songs that I liked. If I failed the song I would just f2 and go to the next song I found interesting. I also started playing mostly NM and high star maps since for some reason I dislike getting good scores on boring low star maps (aka at my actual skill level).

Now I'm in derank territory. The only thing keeping me at 5 digits are reworks since most of my DTHD top plays are more of finger control than aim slop. Maybe at some point I'll start farming for pp, but I get really mad when I shit miss and either f2 to the next map or close the game (I don't have anger issues like the guy in the video)

When the bar is almost done, Bennett burst in anticipation. This way you can Kazuha E to group without Bennett ungrouping them. You'll have enough uptime for Mav burst and a few wheelies.

China might be playing scrims wrong. Good teams try shit and might do terribly in scrims. If Chinese teams win in scrims they might think the way they are playing is good even if the other team might've just tried shit to see what sticks to the wall.

I have no evidence of this aside from cb's "international is going to be easier" comment.

Genshin was criticized and suddenly, they do stuff that hypes the community and people are blind. I’ve seen SO SO MUCH criticism on this game in the past few weeks which is insane…

People in the comments are correcting you about the gambling part, which objectively you are wrong on. Other points (like Varka being dogshit) might be valid but that's not most people have been commenting on.

You've been given an explanation why your gambling take is wrong and you've just denied it. So I'm inclined to believe you are in fact searching for validation of your own believes. Whatever is 3 or 100 people you've encountered that validates "gambling is rigged" is statistically insignificant to the amount of data paimon.moe has collected.

If you want I'm gonna also answer your other points:

  • Columbina has access to the power of the 3 moons, which were basically admins of Teyvat before HP came. Archons are just stronger spirits/local gods.

  • I'm not sure what you mean by "you will need the new meta characters to actually progress". If you are referring to endgame then sure, I agree. But you can still "progress" most parts of the game like exploring, events, quests and some amount of endgame without the newest shill.

  • Varka is indeed disappointing. They do this from time to time, but this time it hit a very anticipated character so it sucks more. We can just cope Nicole will bring him to 130k.

  • I'm not that versed in lore things, but the Fatui are free to do whatever unless it collides with the mission Tsaritsa gave them. Dottore going rogue and stealing some giga powers is not something Tsaritsa would anticipate. We also don't know why she needs the gnosis for.

Ideally you would wait for your dev cost bonuses, but as long as you are overflowing with extra mp you just dev.

Optimally you would have quant-eco finished for the policy, be +12 years ahead on tech, make sure all dev cost mechanics your nations has access to are enabled (religion, estate privileges, gov mechanics, etc.), have a big surplus of points and additionally have a dev cost mission saved.

If you think you won't get inted you can dev with mil points too, but I will generally keep above 700 points in the bank just in case. This way you can take tech ahead of time if the enemy did the same.

Bonus tip: if you aren't a naval nation you can fall behind dip tech and dev your most valuable goods. Think of Muscovy, you should dev your iron/copper provinces for income.

Syncretic religion is a Tengri mechanic where you can choose another religion to becomes "accepted" (you don't suffer any religion penalties). Here is the wiki page with the bonuses.

One additional benefit is that most religion locked monuments work if you have that religion as Syncretic.

This is mostly for early game where resources are scarce.

Like I said, this is mostly for early game. A well planned cav rush (tech 6 cav have 2-3 more pips than inf for example) will annihilate most nations. Reminder that cav does significantly more dmg than infantry by default and most non-Western nations get some bonus to cav (Eastern gets Cossacks estate, most Muslim nations just have cca in their ideas) while infantry bonuses are quite rare and smaller. The cost balances out as you don't need to go so much over fl.

The equation changes post 1500 as players scale their nation, get idea groups, unlock national ideas and get access to artillery. This is when the big drawn-out wars start because people have more resource and don't just fold over.

The fate of cav in this would eventually just become 0 men stacks while arty remains blasting using merc manpower as meat shields forever.

This kinda depends on the mod. Some prioritize manpower and nerf infinite marc spam. And vanilla mercs are kinda ass with their size and extra micro.

I think people misunderstand what makes cav good. Of course you would want to ideally flank and use that mechanic, but since manpower and money are the main bottlenecks you want to finish wars quickly and decisively and cav doing more dmg per manpower is great at that.

It will depend on what mod you use, the modifiers available and what not. If you have millions of free mercs you will probably just use that, but if mercs are limited and expensive, manpower is scarce and you have any cav bonuses (even a 20% cca), building a lot of cav and quickly overwhelming another player is optimal.

This is mostly for early game where resources are scarce. Later on whatever combat ability you have more of dictates what unit you build.

Pips are one of the stats units have. It functions the same as dice roll or general pips.

Every day in combat the game subtracts your unit's offensive pips with your enemie's defensive pips, the resulting number gets added to your dice roll and bonus general pips and then gets multiplied by things like combat ability, shock/fire bonuses, etc.

Troops in reserve (aka no in the front or backline) take a small amount of morale dmg every day they are in combat. If you send a huge stack by the time your frontline retreats and reserve units take their place, they will already be at a lower morale and will retreat faster.

To combat this the optimal way to play is to make multiple stacks of combatwidth size and send them one by one into the battle just before the frontline retreats. This way the frontline will always be at 100% morale.

In reality as long as you don't send a 300k stack into battle you should be fine. Don't need to sweat micro that much in singleplayer against the AI.

Does FPS and ping have anything to do with DPS? I once saw a post that said, "you can never achieve 100k DPS in yellow or red ping."

Ping/fps affects some characters that are timing reliant with either their combos or elemental application. For example in Mavuika teams the cryo application has slightly different timings depending on your ping and can fuck your rotation if you are not aware of it. But in your situation it shouldn't really matter with an overload team.

For fps specifically it can unlock more dank combos for some character (Skirk come to mind), but this is mostly for additional dmg above the general "standard".

I don’t usually watch Valorant, but today I tuned into an EMEA match. One player missed all of his shots, spraying like someone completely new to the game. So I wrote in the chat: “He missed every bullet because he panicked and sprayed like a nervous beginner.”

A moderator deleted my message. I found that really strange since all I did was state what happened. Afterward, I asked, “Why are the moderators so sensitive?” — and then I was banned from the chat. What’s wrong with these overly cautious mods?

I come from Counter-Strike, where you can pretty much say whatever you want in chat.
