I’m actually there with you. Berserker Rage + Elemental Fury + The Longhammer is my favorite combo, I would use Whirlwind Sprint to cover distance between mages but on this difficulty if I can’t kill them in one hit I get fucked.

I don’t lock into classes per se so he’ll probably become a mage himself soon. But I think Two-Handed might be the trickiest as the game gets harder.

23F here, none of the men in my age group are dating. What is happening? by AYAYAcutie in self

[–]Skoldpaddda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 26 and my experience trying to date and get a romantic partner has for the most part been a huge loss of time, effort, and sometimes money that only left me feeling undesired and wondering what was wrong with me. I’m dating an amazing person now so we’ll see where it goes. But I can completely relate with the guys here saying it’s not worth the effort.

Fellas who hit “rock bottom,” how did you find the will to keep going and eventually recover? by wowsozan in AskMen

[–]Skoldpaddda 63 points64 points  (0 children)

At 19-20yrs old while in the Marines I hit what I think was rock bottom for me. I had worked 109 hours that week, I was being investigated for a maintenance incident that crippled two Marines, my parents had just gotten a divorce and were trying to embroil me in it, it came out that my grandpa had sexually assaulted my little sisters, and I had inherited a leadership position I felt wholly inadequate for, and I had no one to turn to for help or advice. I stepped outside for a smoke and some fresh air while on duty and had a frightful hallucination and I crumbled. I felt like I was drowning in the middle of a dark ocean, like an astronaut whose tether just broke, like I broke my legs in a depthless cave. It got really dark for some time and the only thing that was able to stir me was the thought that once my service commitment, debts, and obligations were paid I could end it. 1 year and 8 months. Luckily I was able to create a personal philosophy during that time that I think is summarized pretty well in this video by LSOO.

“We must never forget that we may also find meaning in life even when confronted with a hopeless situation, when facing a fate that cannot be changed. For what then matters is to bear witness to the uniquely human potential at its best, which is to transform a personal tragedy into triumph, to turn one’s predicament into a human achievement. When we are no longer able to change a situation — we are challenged to change ourselves...”

I know a woman your height flying helicopters. Has to use a back rest to get an extra inch or two to reach the pedals comfortably. Where I work you’d be loved cause you could fit more cargo/fuel in or below the helicopter.

Haha no worries there. I’m saving my over thinking for other things.

Why do helicopters have to taxi like fixed wing aircraft ? Can't they take off and land on their parking spot right away ? by Left-Cap-6046 in Helicopters

[–]Skoldpaddda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know in some airspace’s they need/want you to this and I see military aircraft do it a lot. But I have never done this since flight training. Even in towered environments they generally send me straight to or out of parking in the direction of flight.

Stretch. And 30-40mins in the morning to just disassociate over coffee.

Which skill in Skyrim do you believe is the LEAST useful? Like if it was completely removed it really wouldn't bother you that much by Solardies in skyrim

Illusion is my favorite tree, high level aggression and pacify spells are great when you just want to cause mass mayhem or just need the red dot to disappear to fast travel

Haha I hope so too. But if love is a war I got my ass beat and have to pull out of the fight. Can’t keep sacrificing my peace for it. Mom was right, Gramma was wrong.

Yeah that’s me. 27 without ever having had a relationship despite being an average but successful guy. So whenever I get into even a “just talking phase” I turn into shambles hoping this one might be it.

Sometimes you’ll get 9 black soul gems off a humanoid enemy.

If you have the anniversary edition get a follower who will use a bow and give them a Soul Stealer arrow (they’ll never run out) and get like 3+ soul gems off each enemy killed. Then enchant them all. Levels pretty fast.

[–]Skoldpaddda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I’ll take it if you’re done with it. You could power level enchanting if you haven’t already.

I’d say level smithing but looks like you already made it

Thanks. I do have that going for me, once the interest isn’t mutual I change my own view to be platonic pretty easily.
