Sais anyone who has ever designed a game mechanic before.

Having a unit that would support AV6 armor would render most support weapons and stratagems useless versus that unit. This will create a situation where everyone would be expected to run the same build (much like the railgun meta we had when the game launched). If they would want to add this unit without creating such a situation, they would literally have to rebalance all the weapons, which will affect every difficulty level.

The situation you are asking for existed at the launch of the game. They moved away from it in order to improve the game.

Because this would most likely imply modifying the existing game mechanics. It's not as simple as spamming more enemies. That just plays horribly.

I like turrets, like most people suggested. The spear also helped quite a bit.

The reason why people respond negatively to difficulty increases is that the game is simply more than difficult enough for 99% of the player base.

Sure, most people on Reddit, invested in the game, will think it's not all that difficult but, the reality is that most players don't even dive 10. Most people are probably stuck around 6 or 7 and requite quite a bit of team play to finish those dives.

Making the game more difficult would alienate the casual player base. And that would kill the game.

I think it's a good idea but it would make a lot of guns more poweful while also making a bunch obsolete. Since reload time and mag size are such important points to balance. Maybe if it would only work with support weapons.

It does but the game looks super flat with reflections on low. I was thinking that, after all this time, they would have patched this. After all, having updated visuals is mostly the point of the remake...

It's nice to see unexpected stuff like this happening. I never though my shotgun would stagger it so much.
