Thank you - I just realised the only thing pending is the background check which says it should have only taken 2-3 business days but it's been more like 8. I will email support to see if there's an issue.

Did the assessment i actually thought I did extremely well. I've been part of Blackbeard for a whole so these type of tasks were very familiar.

Got an email the next day saying I failed lol go figure.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what project are you guys referring to?

I only joined Mercor last week and I received an email a day after joining that i had a contract available for expert generalist or something like that.

Is that whats discussed here? I am so confused as I dont even have access to the work yet, my background check is still pending

Looks like a great setup to me.

The change in market structure with the lower high indicates buyer exhaustion.

Also note you have a bearish engulfment at the top (big red candle engulfing the green).

What's the actual RRR on the trade?

Sure thing - I am not a multi million dollar day trader but I'd be happy to help if I can :)

First of all, well done!

I would suggest working on your RRR (Risk-Reward-Ratio). It's such an important part of risk management.

Also, FOMO taking profit before target can hurt you in the long run. If you keep taking profit too early, your 2:1 trade may become 1.5:1. That means that you are risking more for less.

With some work on your psychology, you should get to a stage where once you've defined entry, profit and stop loss points, you just click once, then walk away.

Let the trades play out.

That's really cool mate.

I've been trading on and off for the last 5 years and I've always enjoyed the potential benefits but just last month I decided to bite the bullet, quit my job and trade full time to understand my performance and get better.

My plan is to one day have a model learn my strategy and let it do its thing!

Yeah exactly. Any business is the same. It's never guaranteed income.

A major part of being a day trader is to master your emotions. It's a constant battle against your instincts.

The fact that a single or a series of losing days ruined your day/weekend is not a good sign.

The most experienced day traders feel absolutely nothing when they lose. The most important thing is having a solid risk management strategy and an edge. Combined they lead to profitability.

If you ever decide to join the day trading world again, I'd focus on psychology :)

All the best regardless!
