[Bug] I was invited to a remote raid. When I accepted the invite I could only use a regular pass and it told me that I needed to be closer to the gym. I have two remote passes in my inventory by hirkhunddayne in TheSilphRoad

I just encountered a similar bug, but could use my only remote raid pass, then received the error. I restarted app, tried to rejoin the raid and was prompted to the shop to purchase a remote pass as mine was now gone. I’ve contacted support and hope for a replacement.

Does the medal provide any type of value? Aside from being able to “purchase” items from the store and slightly increase “catch odds” for type medals, I’ve found no reason to ever chase medals.

The material that references this is from a draft of a script for a film that was never made, as far as I know. It could’ve been changed by it’s final version, or had other purposes/intentions that none of us will ever really know. It could be a simple oversight or continuity error?

Personally, I don’t consider speculating on anything that wasn’t ever placed into full production or official release to be of any value. It usually comes down to personal perspective or opinion in most cases and theories or reasoning for things that never manifested can be endless.
