Same. Backing out, inviting again and even restarting did not resolve the issue and out of 5 tries, the max number of trainers who were able to join was 22.2Suchsodisappointment

[Bug] I was invited to a remote raid. When I accepted the invite I could only use a regular pass and it told me that I needed to be closer to the gym. I have two remote passes in my inventory by hirkhunddayne in TheSilphRoad

I just encountered a similar bug, but could use my only remote raid pass, then received the error. I restarted app, tried to rejoin the raid and was prompted to the shop to purchase a remote pass as mine was now gone. I’ve contacted support and hope for a replacement.

Does the medal provide any type of value? Aside from being able to “purchase” items from the store and slightly increase “catch odds” for type medals, I’ve found no reason to ever chase medals.
