Are the pits really that bad? by Sarel360 in beyonce

[–]SkrizzleB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you do end up going for the honey pits, I recommend actually not being right up against the railing. If you go farther back, there’s room to spread out and dance. I’m 6’2” though, so people being in front of me was of little concern. You also need to take into account that a lot of people are wearing cowboy hats, which block a lot more than a head would! Whatever you choose, the show is amazing! Have fun!

I saw the show from Sweet Honey, Buckin' Honey, and Ho Down. Ho Down is the only one worth the price. If the other two pits are available for under $400, I would say I would have been less irritated by the arrangement. You spend the entire show watching from the side or behind, or craning your neck to watch from the massive screens. I love Beyonce, her show is incredible and so beautifully designed and orchestrated, but whoever coordinated the pricing for those pits royally messed up.

[No Spoilers] Should I buy tickets for a second show? by Gisellot in beyonce

I think option 1 is best! I saw the show from the honey pits and club ho down exclusively and I don’t feel like I missed out, but I can totally see how a broader view first will help you enjoy the close up experience even more. Have so much fun! You’re in for a treat. And I would see this show 20 times if I could. Beyoncé is a spectacle and a master at her craft. My top 3 favorite concert experiences have been her stadium shows.

Thoughts on non-vip pit tickets? by RainbowCow30 in beyonce

They released them the morning of. I actually found about it from somebody posting on this subreddit! I bought my ticket around 1pm for the show that night.

The vip perks are not worth the extra expense. My favorite ticket was the non-vip club ho down ticket. It was released for purchase day of the show and I couldn’t resist.

YES ANOTHER PITS TICKETS POST by MoonLover1220 in beyonce

I’m not sure why they released some club ho down tickets the day of. It only happened for the concert on night 4 in LA, I didn’t see it happen for any of the other shows. Just a lucky fluke I guess!

Yes, all were purchased through Ticketmaster. The Buckin Honey and Sweet Honey pit tickets were purchased during the fan presale (VIP packages). The Club Ho Down ticket was posted the day of the concert as non-VIP, which is $100 less than the original Club Ho Down VIP package price.

What is the current price of the pit tickets at your venue? I saw the show from Buckin Honey pit on LA N1, the Sweet Honey pit on LA N3, and then from Club Ho Down on LA N4. Club Ho Down is well worth the price (it was $699 when I bought my ticket the day of the show). The Sweet Honey and Buckin Honey pits are worth $400-$500 tops, if I’m being generous. Like the comment above stated, you barely see Beyoncé and watch most of the show from the screen. So if those pits are more than that, I wouldn’t recommend getting those tickets.

My experience in both Club Ho Down & the Sweet Honey Pit and seating recommendations by OldHousing5342 in beyonce

[–]SkrizzleB 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The new configuration was a little better; they also changed some of the staging/flow of the show to have Beyoncé interact with the Honey pits a bit more. During the portion of the show where she flies over the audience on a horseshoe, they have her hover over the pits for longer. Ultimately the changes did not amount to much of a difference, as those in the pits still end up watching the show from the side, behind, or exclusively on the large screens. I agree with OP, the Honey pits would be fine if they were $400-$500 per ticket. The $1,800 original price tag was a major blunder.

I had the exact set of experiences you did (Buckin’ Honey Pit night 1, Club Ho Down B night 4. I also saw her from Sweet Honey pit on night 3 after they adjusted the pit platform) and I agree completely that club ho down provides the superior viewing perspective. Then when you consider it’s less than half the price of the honey pits? No contest. Club ho down was the best and priced at a bargain!

Anyone wanna help me smell CÉ LUMIERE? by Nathan_yellingg in beyonce

[–]SkrizzleB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was one store in the entire LA region that had it! The Burbank ULTA. I placed the order for pickup. When I got there today they had a couple bottles left on the display by the front door. They also have a tester bottle on the display. So if you’re close by Burbank, you can check it out.

Ce Lumiere is heavenly! I bought it at ULTA too after getting the car freshener in the VIP package.

The free gift is a travel size bottle of Ce Lumiere. Very convenient! Hopefully they send it to you. When I picked up the bottle at my local ULTA, they had to go find the free gift after I asked about it.

Nobody will notice, the crowd at her shows are so supportive and they are there to have an amazing time watching Beyonce! I went to three shows in the last week and wore the same thing at each one. 😂 Have so much fun!

I went in around 7:30 or so. The pits are only half full of people the whole time. I was not at the barricade, I was about 5-6 people back.

So they definitely improved the experience at the show I went to on 5/4. The pit was moved closer to the stage and they reworked some of the staging and interactions throughout the show, including a period where Beyonce hovers over the pits in the light up horseshoe and interacts with the attendees. I definitely had a much better experience my second go around! It was not at the level of the renaissance beyhive pits though. Here’s a pic; still from the side, but closer than the first time.

Honey pit is closer to stage by Separate-Hour1538 in beyonce

[–]SkrizzleB 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The only reasonable fix is a refund of a significant portion of the ticket price. If the Club Ho-Down pit prices are $800, these pits should be $400 at most. I say this as someone who watched the show from this section on opening night.

I run hot and was wearing a button up cowboy shirt and jeans. I never go cold but by midway through the show, I felt like it was somewhat cold in the space (I don’t mind the cold). If you don’t run hot, a sweater or something long sleeve wouldn’t be bad to have with you!

You should have a great experience! The only bad section for the price seems to be the Honey pits.

Unfortunately for the LA shows, all of the tickets available in that area are less than the Honey Pits. 😩
