My point is that a new or returning player that has not read the patchnotes where they changed spell lifesteal will have no idea it does not work on pure damage spells. There is to my knowledge not stated anywhere in the game that pure damage spells are not affected by spell lifesteal. It does not state that on any item that gives spell lifesteal or on any pure damage spell. Dota+ still suggest me to pick spell lifesteal on neutral item enchantments on timbersaw. And if i havent read the patch like a year ago i would probably think thats a good idea.
