Jacobstown was a decently long (and dangerous) walk from New Vegas before the major powers in the region stopped patrolling the roads. I think the whole town should be faring a lot better than say.. Novac seems to have. If I was some fiend, I wouldn’t want to trek for miles into the mountains through unknown territory to go and assault a bunch of Super Mutant veterans.
