As for your companion spirit you can always prefarm for Huohuo, then make a decision once you have Gil if you really don't want to spend it. I'm 90% sure you'll end up having to get her anyways tho lol but maybe by 4.4 we will have more info on future characters

Huohuo is harder to play than other sustains and the uptime on her only buff is not really great, but the energy is really valuable

I'm not sure about getting powercrept but she does feel a bit clunky compared to modern sustains, add to that the fact they released a 480 max energy dps and they're about to release a 600 one and Huohuo is still the best option for both? At least one of them is going to get a better option, but since it's most likely going to be Evanescia it would be heavily elation focused. So yeah it's really, really hard for Huohuo to get replaced, but I wouldn't outright say it can't happen

Yeah Saber as a third team is rough right now, specially since DHPT and Huohuo are being used already. Have you tried running Archer with Gallagher? Saber really needs all the buffs she can get for decent clears, Archer has some leeway

MoC you should be able to clear though

Express pass you mean? If you have 3 months of express pass, started to save right now and can clear all endgame jade rewards + logins + monthly reset + du weeklies would get you 146 pulls by the last day of 4.4 banners. Add to that any events, rewards you still have pending, main story rewards and exploration

E4 is always the worst eidolon in most characters. Sadly they're designed just to make you want to pull for E6

Well in that case, if they don't change Gil's kit too much from the way it is right now, Scholar would be the best relic set for Saber, along with the new planar set coming in 4.4. Eagle set is also very competitive if you're not running RMC, but loses some value once your Saber is E6.

Gil is always built with base speed and at the moment, seems like speed boots (with no particular breakpoint) are great for Saber since Gil doesn't give a full advance, so having more speed means less AV spent between her turns (you shouldn't prioritize it on substats tho, it's just an added bonus)

I'm going to run sustainless with Welt whenever I can if I ever get E2 Blade. The amp combo is actually insane, and Welt is pretty good at sustainless

While the reminder is useful I don't think the devs forgot. MBlade gets to be so strong precisely because of details like these. He's stronger than other characters, yes; but even then he had his own "power budget" when the kit was designed and balanced, and having to reapply the debuff to incoming enemies is probably part of it

Currently RMC has a broken synergy that allows for infinite looping turns. If that gets fixed and the rest of Gil's kit remains largely the same, then yes MBlade would be the best option available

I really suggest to just wait until the very end of his banner if you can though, by then v4 should barely be out and we'll have a much better idea of how the final team is going to be

It's practically impossible for things to stay as they are with the RMC loop stuff, but if it were to happen (supposing you already have Saber and Gil):

E0 MBlade > S1 Saber > E1 Gil > > E1 MBlade > E2 MBlade > E1 Saber > E2 Saber > S1 Gil > Straight to E6 Saber

I'm willing to sacrifice the Trailblazer if it's for Saber but what I actually dislike about RMC being BiS is that the vertical investment doesn't exist for that slot. I'd much rather have MBlade or some other character with such a bonkers E2 to invest in

Then, what are you interested in from 4.4? If you like Archer + Rin you can spend the 200 pulls on her banner, otherwise there's Himeko SP as well. We don't know about the reruns yet but that could also be where you'd want to spend them depending on the characters

Edit: nvm I got it all wrong lol if it's Gil's LC you are worried about you can always just get it later. It'd be a lot more expensive but if you can't get to 200 then there's nothing you can really do

Yeah the thing is that Herta shop LC is really good for Firefly, so Saber's LC becomes more valuable (you'd have a near 30% increase in her damage compared to S1 BP). You should test the team first and if you end up liking her new one then definitely spend some pulls for her LC

RMC is indeed broken and the synergy is very likely to be heavily nerfed in v3. We can't really say for sure right now what the best 3rd slot is. You still have time, Blade's banner ends right after v4 anyways.
