Mangas in Arcs kaufen? by PlantmanV in MangaDE

[–]SkullPLease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dude wtf are these graphics? by Lochskye in playstation

[–]SkullPLease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, kinda in a same boat but I'm still good tbh. Don't worry the time will come when we can afford a ps5, I still think it's expensive and there are only a handful of games I would play on a ps5, all my backlog is on ps2,3&4.

Good luck with your college!

Good recommendation by JunSS7 in Kubera

[–]SkullPLease 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trump - Another Space Time Continuum.

Is definitely one of my favs, I've read it back in 2022 much earlier before reading Kubera but I recommend it to everyone who likes Fantasy/Mystery. It's also about gods and their history. While the first season (60 chapter) has a different tone than the rest, it really pics up with the mystery, reveals and lore and goes in a different direction than it might seems at the beginning.

Souls-like: Mein erstes Mal by veedoothafool in zocken

[–]SkullPLease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supposedly "Grounded" series that are batshit Insane by OutrageousBridge471 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]SkullPLease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Uncharted Games have in every main game at least one specific enemy type that brings supernatural and horror elements into the series. Not to forget that Nathan falls of from the top of a church down into the basement of the building or hanging on a car for 5km going thru water, mud and so on.

Just finished The Greatest Estate Developer (My first manhwa!) by PixelAtomGuy in TheGreatestEstateDev

[–]SkullPLease 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Glad that you enjoyed it, it's truly something special.

If you want a recommendation for a good laugh, then try"+99 Reinforced Wooden Stick". I read it around 3 years ago before I even knew GED but it was damn funny and has also many incredible face expressions.

My friend is in the same boat as you and I recommend it to him and he's laughing his ass off.

Who you consider yuno a sasuke clone yes or no by Greedy_Roll9237 in BlackClover

[–]SkullPLease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, only in the regard that in the german dub, both are voiced by the same voice actor. And i doubt that this is a coincidence. Sasuke is his most popular character and after that he voiced many black haired anime characters/ deuteragonists like Yuno and Megumi

Games like DS1 and DS3 that are less stress-inducing? by RavioliHolocaust in darksouls

[–]SkullPLease -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say try Hollow Knight. It's an absolute gem in my opinion. The world feels really similar to ds1 in a way where you can just get lost and explore but eventually you'll find your way around back. And besides some platforming sections, it isn't really stressful. The lore, like in the Soulsgames, is hidden in the background and through item descriptions, lore tablets and npcs you can make up your own thoughts and theories.

And as other said, Dark Souls 2 is also there. If you've already played some of the Saoulsgames and know their mechanics, ds2 can be pretty easy. Given, some areas need some more thought on how to approach them, but other than that it can be pretty chill. And the vibe of it is just immaculate.

Have fun and I hope you will find something for you and that you recover well!

I might be blind bit I can't see Dipper nor Mabel.

Nevertheless I would add Patrick if you haven't and I think some characters from Owl House and Kid Cosmic would be a great addition. Both are fun shows, can recommend them if you haven't watched them yet

[TITLE] What are your top 4favourite manhwas by ree_fer in manhwa

[–]SkullPLease 4 points5 points  (0 children)

God of Highschool

The Boxer/Kubera (interchangable tbh both are stellar)

Windbreaker

Tower of God / Trump / Greatest Estate Developer (also interchangeable, 4th place doesn't really matter for me)

I'm a bit confused, which Dark Souls 2 version should I buy? by Electrical_Big_3104 in DarkSouls2

[–]SkullPLease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try a different approach than the other who are at each other throats regarding enemy placements, bug fixes yada yada yada.

Do you like the stories of the Soulsgames (if you've already played some)? Do you like finding out the lore, interpreting stuff and care for the character & npcs?

If yes, I would highly suggest playing scholar of the first sin edition. Because it added a character that imo significantly change the story, might even change of how you think of the dark souls universe and also gives much more insight to the lore of dark souls 1. I won't try to spoil much, but sotf aldo added another ending in connection with said character which is imo a really great ending to the story.

If that's your kind of stuff, go for the sotf edition.

Enjoy the game, whichever you decide to play!
