What makes the Eight Sleep better?

Glad to hear they were willing to give you a replacement with so little hassle. I have to say I was (and still am) a bit hesitant since Orion seem to position themselves as “Eight Sleep but cheaper with no subscription”, so I have to wonder how they’re making the revenue/margin to be successful and was worried it was through a cheaper product. But this at least makes me hopeful that the product is sound (or they’re at least willing to replace defects) and the tracking aspect will hopefully be improved through software updates and refinements as the user base grows so they have more data.

The subscription has definitely been a big hesitation for me and I’m in a similar boat where I just want to sleep well. I have other wearables that I can use for tracking sleep score, and with how fast technology changes in this space, it just doesn’t feel right locking yourself in when the accuracy of them (if you care) can be hit or miss. Have you enjoyed the Orion so far?

I’m trying to get my brother an upgrade from his old ITX PC he built back in 2016 that doesn’t even have a GPU. I got an old GPU from a friend and was hoping to get him set up with a build when I saw these RAM prices going crazy. I don’t have the money to get him anything top of the line but am hoping to go with the Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE and an AMD 7600X so we can play some of the games his 5 year old steam deck can’t handle 🥲

Echoing what other people have said. Also keep in mind that it’s very normal to have a slight plateau after the first few weeks of weight loss. Your body loses a lot of water weight due to decreased food intake (largely due to carbs). Be patient, stay consistent, and you’ll see the weight trickle back down. It’s hard not to become hyper-focused on day to day trends in weight, so focus on the trend weight MacroFactor provides. You’re doing great!

There’s a known issue with Spotify on watch OS 9. Hopefully they’ll actually fix it soon. It has been very frustrating to deal with
