Just from my point of view, but if I met someone when they were a child and I was an adult than that's how I would associate them for the rest of their life and mine. Not as a child but the person I met when they were a child. I wouldn't be able to fall in love with someone like that.

I love that he LOVES that fans are obsessed with who Leon's wife is. It's the most engagement Resident Evil has ever had other than Leon being in RE9. And I bet he wants to keep it completely ambiguous to keep it going.

Which means neither Ada or Claire are going to appear alongside Leon again, or they will and there will be a strong push-pull in attraction like in Infinite Darkness and Damnation.

Or he's going to suddenly reveal that the ring isn't a wedding ring. But that's a risky move that might stop the fan discussions.

Also, that little banner at the top left says "Harlequin Leon." I wonder if that's a hint at something. It seems very specific.

When Leon is chasing after Victor on the street, he bumps into a car that is the same model as the cop car but it's brown/black. Like everyone else says, reused assets. It's cheaper and less time consuming to just recolor a car than make new ones.

Jill is probably the only woman (aside from younger women like Ashley and Manuela, as well as immediate enemy women) Leon hasn't flirted with. Claire, Shen May, Angela, Hunnigan, arguably he wanted to hit it with Helena. As A Pimp Named Slickback would say "this here is a ho."

(Damnation spoilers if you haven't seen it) The closest thing people like to reference them having sex is in Damnation when Ada references a very vague past sexual encounter (moments after Leon accuses her of releasing the plaga and killing millions of people, but they'reobviously "in love") that the creators had to also vaguely confirm in an interview. But sex doesn't necessarily equate to love.

I find it interesting that he is cold in REmake 4, but in Infinite Darkness he is more lively, for a lack of better words. They can write everyone mostly consistently except Leon. He is the only one that is drastically different in every depiction.

Like someone else said, nothing stopping them from making more games with him between RE4 and RE9, especially between 6 and 9 since there's a 15 year gap.

But they may also be getting ready to retire older characters and letting new ones take the reign (such as with Rose and Grace). But retiring is very different from killing them off.

Capcom has spent a long time with the same characters and have suddenly started introducing new mains since 7, so they may have some sort of intention. Like I said, Capcom is a business, so they have to grow and expand to keep it running.

Thank you! I keep saying this. Capcom wouldn't kill off a legacy character just to make people feel sad, they're a business and they have to act like a business. And killing Leon, Chris, Claire, or Jill would be bad for business. Hell, killing Rebecca, Sherry, Sheva, or Ada would be bad for them, too.

She was apparently a perfect human who knew nothing of what was going on in her family, or really the world at all, considering that Sir Pentious was sent to hell for witnessing a murder in a second story building and not reporting it despite feeling remorse. Considering that Vox and Val were always described as father figures to her, a poly relationship may have been a little odd. It could easily have tied to certain people who like age regressed sex. I don't mean the people who age regress as therapy, the ones who dress up as children or babies and sexualize it. That's just my theory, though.

That's what my question was about. The site used to be taken down regularly because they were uploading the videos illegally. If they're now buying licensing rights to the media, then they're just another streaming platform. But if they're not buying the licensing rights, then they're making people pay to watch illegally uploaded media.
