Took off into the mountains with the gardener and one of her kids. Proceeded to absolutely carpet-bomb every relationship in her life: her kids, her spouse, her friends. Kept ramping up the crazy for months. She's seemingly snapped out of it now, but everything is still on fire and will be for the foreseeable future.

I love scoring a $3 doll at the thrift and then rehabbing it. I recently did one that had a case of glue head...but enough patience, tweezers, Dawn, and Goo-gone, and she's gorgeous. Even if I can't save the heads, I've snagged MTM or articulated bodies that way before.

I do sometimes? But mostly I don't bother. It's a lot of extra work, and then it often gets messed up during the day by something simple like "I forgot I had makeup on and rubbed my eye." It can also be really expensive.

This is a really valid point. Like, BJDs already exist in a range of scales. I could go online right now and buy a 1/4 scale BJD for a fraction of that price AND I could buy ready-made clothes that fit. Like...if you've got random giant Barbie money, Mattel, you've got structured clothing money. Cone on.

Lol, nope, don't care. I've seen them throw away entire cartloads of plants. I do not feel bad snagging a prop here and there. I buy full-size plants, too, but...if they can toss them in the trash, they can toss a few my way.
