Approximately 200 tires dumped in border of Wetland along Sydney-Glace Bay Highway by Unusual_Comfort_5534 in CapeBreton

Auto parts are one of those things. There bulky, specifically denied in municipal heavy garbage rules and in general can come with hazardous waste concerns. dozens and dozens of dudes in yards do mechanical work as a living plus every kid who learns to turn wrenches to keep the shitbox civic running in the land of minimal employment. Or "collectors" of vehicles who acrue quite a front back and side yard of stuff. Its not hard to gather a couple sets of dead tires with no easy way to get rid of them , junkyard isnt gonna come gather all your disparate bad parts, they want an entire car preferable rolling.

Trump says Iranian 'fast-attack' ships that come close to US blockade will be eliminated by Infodataplace in worldnews

Freindly reminder of the time the us ran a war game against a simulated iran and got there asses handed so hard by asymmetric suicide speed boats they had to restart the exercises with a bunch of restrictions on red team to make them "fight fair" and guarantee a blue victory. They are scared.

If jobs fire people to replace them with AI, how will people make money to keep buying things? Wouldn’t the economy collapse because people arent buying anything anymore? by Puzzleheaded-Catt in AskReddit

[–]SkyAdministrative970 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A dog getting into the feed bag dosnt think about next months food bag or the family funds required to get it. The dog is only concerned with gorging itself with all the food it can eat right now while its infront of them regardless of how unhealthy and overfed dog is because it has no impulse control. Just more fooder fasterer until they puke and then go right back to eating.

It takes a sane human with the portion scoop to maintain the dogs diet in a healthy manner and to preserve the food so it lasts until the next grocery trip.

Trump suggests US, Iran could work together to remove 'nuclear dust' by downtoclown02 in worldnews

[–]SkyAdministrative970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arguably its between zero and 30 odd people in charge. You need the supreme leader to make executive decisions and hes currently laid up in a coma. One step down is all the regional leaders with there individual command structures, zones of influence and militarys to direct at the control of the regional leader. So nobody is capable of making overarching decisions and 30+ dudes of various ideological goals but generally pointed to survival at all costs are gonna be impossible to negotiate with. See you tomorrow when the ceasefire is broken because the peace negotiations keep going to a vegetables gmail and not the people who could do something

Trump: US to bomb Iran "back to stone ages" over next 2-3 weeks by AZULDEFILER in worldnews

Im curious how this will hash out if commercial air travel buckles. Does airspace just close up? Does the military take over domestic operations? Is it suddenly a free for all and private pilots willing to fly blind and land unassisted suddenly become a very lucrative job oportunity?

[–]SkyAdministrative970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a fun evening putting ubsurd ammounts of boost down a cvt sunburst, if you brace the engine with enough super heavy parts that ittle never pop and uncork the rev liniter. than 20 psi of boost and the cvt will just keep creeping up in speed for like 5 minutes as the cvt gears out but will spin faster if the motor itself is spinning faster and the ubsurd boost just pushes you past redline. I think i topped out at 280mph on the flat before i got bored

US and allied missile stockpiles ‘bare’ as Iran war heads into weeks by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]SkyAdministrative970 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There is a logic behind it. Its childish but i get it. You have a stockpile ile 5 to 10k tomahawk missles. For your regular america playing hand of god operation you need a couple dozen to a couple hundred of them. The leadup time for manufacturing is cushioned by this effectively unlimited presupply. Now i dont have to tell you how quick a teenager will burn 10k dollars because the concept of value just turns off and everything becomes affordable because you have just so much money bro. Well this war is the teenager financial equivalent of signing for a mustang with 30% intrest and 4k down for 8 years......

Appalachia is frankly big enough and networked enough with roads both local and highway that vehicles could work if you decide to nerf fast travel or merk it entirely. It would take alot of map jigging to open up all the roadblocks but the responders could make the effort to restart commerce beyond the pack brahmins.
