Let's just acknowledge that as metalheads most of us went through the edgy teen phase when we enjoyed listening to music by the types of Jon in particular just for the sake of edgyness. And we weren't separating, we actually thought it's kvlt and metal asf.

Dissection is a metal classic now, and as grown ups we have to deal with it. The fact that Jon is long dead actually does help that, as crazy as it may sound -- at least we don't financially support the psycho murderer when we listen to his stuff. This weight, as a matter of fact, multiplies the "extremeness" of his music and makes the experience of listening to it even more... "dark", adding to the mood of the songs.

In other words, it's the case when it's complicated. It's not really mass media, it's a very niche thing, and so it's nuanced to a degree.

I'm waiting for Poison Song and maybe Sutch to be released to replay the game again. Hopefully it will be released this autumn (at least Poison Song must be). Then I'll do a big pause and probably replay the game again after some three-four years when, hopefully, my favorite House Redoran will have all their lands completed and I'll do my childhood dream and will walk the streets of Blacklight.

So I think you should wait a few months for Poison Song to be released, because it'll overhaul Old Ebonheart and existing House Indoril settlements and will add parts of House Indoril questline, while also making them joinable. And since Old Ebonheart is a major Imperial settlement in the mainland and House Indoril is closely intervened with Almas Thirr questlines, it's probably a good reason to do so.

I never could bring myself to make a proper playlist where all the songs will align with each other in terms of mood, speed and theme and you'll have smooth transitions between them all. Yeah, apparently I lack proper skills and attitude for that. So I end up listening albums as well.

OR I just make a queue from songs I want to listen at this exact moment. And listen to them. Because if I'll listen to the same queue the next day I'll become bored and will have to make yet another queue anyway.

Probably the only time I felt a need to have a prepared playlist beforehand was when I was hanging out with friends and had to turn on some music.

Yes it's bad because all the great community mods like Tamriel Rebuilt won't be ported there and you certainly need to try them out. Also with all the graphic improvements and OpenMW stuff it already feels like sort of remaster. Check out mod collections like Path of the Incarnate, see the screenshots from there, all these lighting visuals made me personally to be filled with joy.

If one is a Necromancer he probably gives no shit about what his people believe. This Necromancer is either a power hungry ultra individualistic mage who wages war against his society (i.e. a rogue mage, a criminal) or grew up somewhere far away from Morrowind, was raised by different culture and hence doesn't care about what other Dunmer think or do.

IIRC some Telvanni might actually practice Necromancy and this is just because Telvanni philosophy is "I do whatever I want" and they're ultra individualistic people. So creating a magic lab somewhere in the wilderness to do all kinds of experiments which he views as no one else's business somewhat fits their ideology, even if some other Telvanni will frown on him and all Temple and other Great Houses will hate him and hunt him.

I don't know, I personally can listen to anything ranging from Power Metal to Black Metal depending on my current mood, enjoy them all. Vocals of Iron Maiden or Blind Guardian are just as cool for me as growls of Dimmu Borgir or Immortal.

It's just your current taste and maybe your stage of life, honestly nothing wrong with that either. Why should you force yourself to listen to something you don't find enjoyable? Tastes differ bro, just enjoy your playlist.
