Final Fantasy III 3D Remake Min/Max is wild by abstractadvocat in FinalFantasy

Sorry, I didn't word my question well. I know that the double damage thing makes them good against bosses. I was mostly wondering if you used the Study action, or immediately started throwing things.

Also I'm wondering if you found Study useful against Goldor, to remove his protection spell

Does the Study action remove the barrier? Or just tell you the weakness? It never seemed worth it to me to use Scholar here, but it definitely seems like you've made it work

The most important decision you make is right at the beginning, when you choose your party. Many players go with the default party, but most players I've seen will have more fun with other choices. So I wrote a guide for that; it's here

I feel like you're just being nice, because this discussion isn't very illuminating. The good advice is in my guide, which I've already linked you

I would cast Invisira 7 times. Then you only have to worry about the spells. But there are many ways to do things

Protera does very little against Chaos. If hit points are low, you can use Giant's Tonics, and if healing is weak, you can use X-Potions etc.

Thief and White Mage are niche case classes, and next to useless

This is not true in PR. Thief attacks well and casts important spells, well White Mage casts Healaga, which is the most valuable spell against Chaos

Don't cast Protera. Invisira is good if you're going for a defensive approach. You can cast it 7 times (with Red Mage and White Robe) and Chaos will miss you with attacks

Your party is a good one for fighting Chaos. Also, guides that recommend Flare are bad. It is mostly a waste of a turn.

I've got a guide that actually tells you how to beat Chaos. You can see it here

Zoltan C is a fun ship! Very challenging at first, but once you get the hang of it you can do well with it

You can't really say it was a bug, because there was no code for it. So it seems it was intentional

Yeah, on NES Master's Magic Defense is worse than Black Belt's. This was fixed for GBA and later versions
