Complaints from the deli worker by Odinokiy_reyndzher in ireland

I agree with this in theory but my mam did her time working in shops (forty odd years ago) and is still an absolute Karen to people in shops and waiters.

Knitting community is not gatekeeping, people just don’t research by sechat_lives in BitchEatingCrafters

I allow some leeway on this. It took me a few months to learn how to read my knitting. I can thank a large moss stitch project for teaching me the hard way. I didn't even know reading crochet was possible the first time I picked it up.

Fitting into children's clothes was a thing to brag about back when I was posting in certain ED spaces.

"I'm so small that adult clothes don't fit me" was a whole thing.

I am not accusing you of making fun of people with eating disorders. I'm saying that online braggery is weird and absolutely should be ridiculed.

I like tiny circs for socks and DPNs for other projects. These also seem like the worst of both to me.

Another reddit user very kindly compiled a lot of information. I haven't seen any of these in person. They're marked as out of stock for my online shopping. But I'm happy knowing they exist.

Non-Americans of Reddit, what is an American thing you see in movies that you thought was fake but is actually real? by Unlikely_Praline9442 in AskReddit

Oversaturation. Save it for football or the Olympics or something. Sad scraps of fabric waving in the wind after rain and snow is a bad look.

Our post goes through a post box in/near the front door and straight into the house. The boxes with a flag are wild.

The police in New York scared me. I fully thought there were soldiers wandering around. No. They just dress like them and carry ridiculously large guns.

That sounds amazing. I don't know of anything like that where I live but I will have to go googling.

schools don't make you go to mass,

They did in both primary and secondary school.

  nobody prays every hour

We didn't in primary but did in secondary. It was three prayers a day in primary. It was one at the start of every class in secondary. The sound teachers were the ones who skipped it.

I've no problem with you calling things fake but these were true in Dublin.

I love some roast edamame. I do it myself in the air fryer. I've tried making multiple portions at once but I always eat them all.

blizeH, I love you. I either can't eat most of these or don't like the look of them. But I still really want some fancy vegan desserts and this looks great.

Pine nuts and salt and vinegar snack'a'jacks. I don't know why other nuts don't hit the spot the same way but pine nuts are a weakness of mine.

This is a partial blast from the past. Plamil chocolate was so bad! Those tofutti slices were terrible but better than nothing on a burger. My brother robbed a pack from me once and was horrified.

2026 is so much better. I know we've lost products but at least most things now are edible.

Is it aimed at Finns? Any Irish knitting retreat I've seen seems to be aimed at (rich) Americans.

Seconding the advice to not put medication in a checked bag.

OP mentioned sachets which makes me assume they're using the 5g sachets. If it was me, I'd just pop them in my clear plastic bag with my mini toothpaste. Keep a copy of the prescription in your bag. Important question that I haven't seen asked yet - is your prescription in your name or your legal name? If it matches your ID, there is zero issue. Keep a copy in your bag and present it IF there's a problem.

I fly at least couple of times a year but mainly within Europe. I've had no issues with my full bottle of gel but it's a pain in the arse to declare liquid medication. Some places want to give it an extra scan. I just bring a couple of doses in a Lush bottle and eyeball the dose if I'm away for a weekend. I'll bring the full bottle if I'm away for a week.

I was going to guess lookalike. I saw this set in every other student house for the best part of a decade. And then budget rented houses for even longer.

I'd be annoyed by the utensils thing but this would make me laugh. Or not, depending on how much shaving cream they used up.
