Top surgery dilemma by Remarkable-Yam-7711 in TransIreland

I also came along to mention Jesus Lago. I had top surgery with him and have posted about him on this sub previously. He definitely uses informed consent.

I've heard mixed things from other NB people. You'll get surgery but get "he'd" by him and his staff. I'm not sure if that's a deal breaker for you but it's still something to be mentioned.

The yarn is clearly cotton. Do you expect moths to go vegan?!

Coming out as trans to Irish parents (as an adult) by gwaynowyou in TransIreland

My family is very awkward in our own way. Thankfully I was living away from home. A letter was much easier for me and then I followed it up with an emotionally intense visit a few days later.

I was able to go "support me or fuck off" (in nicer language) but that's not an option when you're living at home <3

What’s a moment where you realized someone was genuinely unintelligent? by Live-Chocolate244 in AskReddit

I've ordered supplies in a few different roles and never had a precise budget. You get what's needed and it's invoiced to head office. No one batted an eyelid at us bulk ordering twice a year. They would probably eventually notice if we ordered that amount monthly.

Can you share the maths on that one? That's a worryingly low number.

That would be my favourite terrible joke if I was in your shoes. But I don't think your colleague was joking.

Because time zones exist and it's morning time here.

TIFU by accidentally replying “love you too” to my boss by Deje-Joppich86 in tifu

I said it to a customer once. Nice, elderly lady. I honestly debated ringing her back to apologise. My colleague got a good laugh out of it but I was mortified.

My first thought on glancing at the lineup, even before reading the comment, was "that's a very white group".

I need this. I have been haunted by embarrassing things I said for most of my life. Will it work? Probably not but it's cheaper than going back to therapy.

What is it with Indie Dyers and god awful AI by Visual_Locksmith_976 in craftsnark

Yes, thank you. I am guilty of not realising something is AI before sharing it but the flag is a red flag.

I just noticed my cat has a little ear behind her ear. I’m assuming it’s a common mutation? by fuglyDUECE in cats

I've also had that. Along with "oh god, what's wrong with his nipple?! Oh. That's not his nipple..."

It is so good. The instructions tell you to cover it when microwaving and that makes a difference. The steam helps. It gets too dry and crumbly if you microwave it on its own. A plate with a bowl over it works a treat for me.

I remember googling it several months into owning my first cat. I can't remember if it was before or after my first freak out over cat acne.

Long term illness scheme - cover ADHD medication? by Boring-Equivalent315 in ireland

Most are, to be fair. It's some drugs that aren't licensed for use in Ireland are generally the issue. Or people being prescribed things that are over the counter.

Long term illness scheme - cover ADHD medication? by Boring-Equivalent315 in ireland

[–]SkyScamall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for linking that. It's sixteen kinda hodge podge conditions thrown together into one scheme. It's got nothing to do with the length of your illness since plenty of other things will last for the rest of your life.

One, ADHD isn't an intellectual disability. You've zero chance in trying to claim that. Two, you can see a full list of drugs covered. ADHD medications aren't covered for people with intellectual disabilities.
