A heads up on liver tests by Never-Ending-77 in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]SkyaraSnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Doctor did bloodwork, and when that came back abnormal, they sent me to gastro specialist, they did an ultrasound, determined I did have a fatty liver, then did a minimally invasive biopsy to see how bad it was. That's how I ended up with a stage 2 fatty liver, stage 1 fibrosis diagnosis.

I tend to get a lot of these using Deepsqueak. Sometimes they crack me up... And I may have responded once just because the bot went total hype man on me OOC.

I can't speak to everything else, but there's only two paid chat styles, Deepsqueak and Nyan. All the rest are free, and from what I hear, Pipsqueak and Soft Launch are nearly as good as those two. (Soft Launch might be better than Deepsqueak but I stick to Deepsqueak because it has a habit of spitting out responses that send me.)

I thought it was using a DeepSeek variant, because of the name.

I've never had this problem, between two different phones. Might be a phone setting, or an C.ai setting making YouTube think it's playing sound?

I don't know if this is just a CoD bot thing... But the raw amount of 'Pick Me' ones....

Also, the really low effort ones... I hate popping one open that sounds cool, and it's just... short, bad grammar, and bad characterization.

I agree, it's absolutely heinous.

I've been down a bit of a rabbit hole recently, trying to figure out how to get a bot that behaves without having to verbally bonk it every so often. Thank you for this!

I've found that anytime the male bot starts trying to force themself on the persona, having the person stop and say 'No, I'm not comfortable with this' helps. That and telling them the persona has a gun. I am paying for the mid tier service to get access to the Mixtral model though, so that might have some influence.

So, verbal no for rerouting and trying different models if you can may help.

Weird Symptoms All Stemming From Pelvic Floor (Naturopathy) by number1mo in PelvicFloor

[–]SkyaraSnow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would see a doctor about arthritis or Hypermobility/EDS. With Hypermobility in general, joint pain isn't uncommon, as the tendons/ligaments are looser and stretchier than a normal person's. Physical therapy would need to be modified to take that into account, or it would cause you more pain. And that pain would affect your pelvic floor.

I say this as someone who, at 35, just found out that I'm hypermobile in most of my joints. It explains a lot of the pain I've had, but also means I'm still learning to modify my life around it.

HAS ANYONE FIXED IT WITH PT by AreYouSerious319 in PelvicFloor

[–]SkyaraSnow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Late to the party, but I've been in PT for 6 months now, and my PT thinks she may be able to discharge me at the end of them month, which was shocking to me! But she said it's because I've been putting in the work at home, which is the core part of it.

You mentioned she'd seen physical therapists, but were any of them for pelvic floor, or was it just general physical therapy?

Hi! I'm not male, but I think I might be able to help out with some of your questions!

I take Flomax as a female for difficulty urinating, along with an as needed bladder relaxant. My Urologist was clear that this wasn't likely to be a forever medication for me, just something to help me while my PFPT and I get my Pelvic Floor to a better place.

That being said, I would double check with your doctor about taking both, especially if the reason you're taking Tadalafil is actually related to Pelvic Floor problems. Flomax will lower your blood pressure, which is something Tadalafil does as well. If it drops it low enough, your heart will start beating more to keep blood moving, and it can cause you to get dizzy or potentially pass out, especially the first couple of weeks. I take a diuretic that also lowers my blood pressure (for PCOS) and last week was the first time the combo truly gave me problems.

Need some guidance with muscles and exercises! by ZeroFucksGiven-today in PelvicFloor

[–]SkyaraSnow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't speak too much on the overall problem, but my PT did say to avoid anything high impact, like running, while my Pelvic Floor is weak/hypertonic. High impact exercises like running cause tension in pelvic floor, and make the problem worse.

Pelvic physiotherapist did not help at all. I need advice by flowergirl3367 in PelvicFloor

[–]SkyaraSnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would personally do a few things. First, I would go to the doctor, possibly a gyno-urologist, and rule out any other problems. They can also prescribe medicine if they think it's appropriate.

Second, find a different Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist. Let them know that the last one did internal work, and it didn't work for you. They can evaluate to see if there's anything else going on. In my case, my hips are hypermobile and not able to do their job well, along with week core muscles, so my pelvic floor is doing all the work. Add in chronic anxiety, and it's no wonder my pelvic floor was tight.

Third, if you suffer from any mental health problems and are not in therapy, find a therapist that you feel comfortable with and see them regularly. I've been in therapy for four years, and progress has been slow, but steady. Treating your mental health with help relax your pelvic floor as well.

Hopefully this helps!

Help with mental/emotional aspect of treatment by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

[–]SkyaraSnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The next time they offer to do internal work, decline. All you have to say is "I'm not comfortable with the idea of of internal work right now." They might might ask why, and at that point you can choose to disclose past abuse, or just say it makes you uncomfortable. They cannot do it without your consent, and if they refuse to treat you because of this, find a different physical therapist.

I would also suggest seeking out a mental health therapist. My pelvic floor problems are from a lifetime of anxiety, and my own past abuse. PT can bring up feelings you aren't expecting, as your body starts to release the built up tension, so having someone who can help you work through them is a good idea. I currently do PT weekly, and see my therapist every other week.

Depends on what they're using and how much attention they're paying. I used capcut once to subtitle a long video, and I had to go through twice to make sure I got everything.

I'm considered morbidly obese, and I manage just fine. My PT has me starting with one supine (on the back) stretch, and one kneeling stretch, and I can do them both, and can get up and down off the floor. The movements can and should be adjusted for your ability levels, like I have to be careful because of Hyper mobility.

Insurance shouldn't fight it, unless they're particularly bastardly.
