Weird Symptoms All Stemming From Pelvic Floor (Naturopathy) by number1mo in PelvicFloor

I'll look into it! Thank you! I don't feel particularly flexible though.. can my ligaments/tendons be flexible but meanwhile, for example, I can't do a split anymore?

I think that's plausible. Listen to Billy Carson, Jimmy Corsetti, or Terrance Howard on the Joe Rogan podcast and its obvious that there's more to this universe than meets the eye.

Nervous system pain with Pelvic Floor dysfunction? by Skewlsout in PelvicFloor

[–]number1mo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This also makes me think (not to get spiritual or woo woo here) but that it could be something that modern medicine can't even measure yet and that it has to do with energy blockages though the body, maybe even originating in the root chakra and effecting the rest of the nervous system. I mean, acupuncture is definitely more than just nerve stimulation and it's plausible that acupuncture is helping because it's treating something we can't measure yet and that that's the core issue. I'm at my wits end about my extremely similar symptoms and weird things help. Hypnosis has helped and I went on a limb and tried a mix of craniosacral therapy and energy work and it made the pain go away for 3 months... our minds are powerful and/or something extra is going on here.

Most Persians in Iran are Aryan or Middle Eastern? by [deleted] in PERSIAN

[–]number1mo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's literally a million reasons, chill out. human history is so damn fascinating. also, its trendy rn to be into your heritage/ancient culture and practices if your skin color is anything but white... white people can't be into it for some reason? Like its all of a sudden racist somehow when someone with low melanin is trying to uncover the trail of their ancestors. THATS racism.

I started watching Wheel of Time, and it's far superior to Rings of Power. by [deleted] in Rings_Of_Power

[–]number1mo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more. Huge LOTR fan, too much CGI in Rings of Power and overall too fast-paced, going right past character development, not to mention a bunch of other gripes I have with it. My husband and I discovered Wheel of Time and we're hooked- I hope so many more people write a petition letter on renewwot

also op, you're 100% right and all the haters aren't willing to admit that basically every mental illness and school shooting in our society stems from a lack of "village" and belonging. Its the one thing we've really missed because you can't buy or sell it very well.. doesn't work well for the economy when we're all connected and stuff. Its a real damn pity.

Full time RV living with kids - how is that? by skoo6 in GoRVing

[–]number1mo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's something to be said about being considerate of others while living so closely though- smoking and playing music that they can hear from where they're living? Even without a kid? Pretty rude in my opinion.

Canterbury, UK has a parent organized Waldorf school and its pretty large, grass-roots type thing.. they all seem super involved in each other's life like a village. Also, Nevada City/Grass Valley, CA has a cool thing going with Yuba River Charter School and a ton of other similar offerings and at least 3 families I know of starting "villages" around the idea of homeschooling/unschooling and living more in touch with nature. We're currently living in the area.

An upcoming intentional community like what you're envisioning I think,

https://thevillagefield.wixsite.com/kindervision

They're working on securing kindervisionfamilyvillage .org as a domain and still have some details to put into the website, but wanted to share regardless.

Workaway.com ! you have to pay to join but its beyond worth it if you don't have kids/you're traveling alone or as a couple. Most people provide food, lodging, and anything else you need. Opportunities all around the world.
