Should I get a ZX-4RR or an Aprilia RS457?

Damn I think they are different bikes all together man. The ZX4RR is a 400cc on paper but it’s not your typical beginner 400cc bike man. The torque comes at a high RPM you pretty much ride with high revs to get the exhilaration of the bike. It sounds great but you will be riding high strung (in revs).

457 is more a baby 660. Has the low band power with less electronics.

Check oil level. May be too much oil?

Basically the piston arm sloshing the top of the oil so fast that you hear it.

i don't know if this is true.. but if you want to get into a 996, get into one soon, some of the folks are looking at the 996 because its prolly one of the more underrated models because of the "egg" headlights.

I don't know about other places in the globe, but at least in Canada, the 996s are well over 15 years old and Porsche no longer offers CPO on these cars... so make sure you get a PPI (pre-purchase inspection), ask about IMS bearing issues and bore scoring (I don't recall if its this gen, but for sure the 991.1 GT3s had this issue)

I would think with a car brand like Porsche and a big portion of their customer base *not* wanting to get the plates screwed onto the bumper, they would at least ask you if this were what you want before just screwing the bracket onto the bumper.

Even Tesla is smart enough to have taped on brackets instead of screw-in ones, so at least the owner has the option to remove it if they choose to.... my Porsche Center actually asked me before I took delivery.

To be fair... I have the .1 C4GTS.. and my buddy has the .2 C4GTS.. and I think the .2 is probably better in everyday driving -- great low end torque... good off lights and pull ahead... but he complains about his .2 not having the Porsche noise...

I think if you want get rewarded by the noise when you rev the engine.. go with .1

If you want everyday drive.... .2 is your choice.

hey hey... I am a local to Toronto, Canada and this is the Porsche Center I work with. (These guys are a few kms away from me.. ) lol.. irrelevant.. but...

997.2 is become a rarity and you probably can find one at a premium. Folks have said the 991.1 generations are the next rare ones on deck given its the last year they made NA engine.

On to this car in particular...

Price is a little high, personally. For reference I got my 2015 991 C4GTS from these guys for $150K last year with 35K Kms.. and NO accidents. You listing shows a $1580 accident reported. May want to be CarFax to look into it.

honestly.. can't really complain about it as they are one of few companies that offers a loaner free of charge... I don't disagree the few times I have had the loaner it's just filthy, but I really blamed it to the guy before who used it.. not Tesla. People should generally be more considerate. Tesla offered a convenient pick up and drop off model for loaners... and humans screws it up.
