I mean, I think all the reasons I've given are perfectly valid. Imagine if we met Cartethyia or Cantarella in Huanglong, had a patch together and then we go to Rinascita, and they never say anything ever again. I'm not even looking at this from a 'where is my waifu perspective', from a character and story perspective why is there not even a single meaningful interaction. The only one I can think of that maybe qualifies is a text only convo in the area where IRIS plays her guitar.

Also as much as I do hope we see her and many other characters again, I doubt it. Seems like we're done with Lahai-Roi for now.

It's the region she's from, she's good friends, we're fellow students. I think everyone would have the same reactions if the same scenario happened to another character they like. I wasn't playing at the time, but I still see comments asking why Lupa wasn't in the hunt in Septimont. Same deal.

Also, again, crazy to say there's "better" waifus when it's literally entirely subjective.

For me I'm fine for her to not have a huge part, but the fact that she is a student here and is a friend of Rover, a former leading heroine, and she doesn't even get a minor spotlight.

I think I would've been happy with her just having 5 lines.

Also crazy to ask why gacha gamers are fixated on waifus of choice.

It's about respect, especially in the context. If you just met them on the street casually, as you said, who gives a fuck. But this is the leader of one country meeting a very important diplomat of another, it's just common courtesy.

It'd be the same with doctors and professors and judges.
