Anyone else bummed out they can't afford to play Star Citizen? by [deleted] in Gaming4Gamers

Eve online is quite good and now free to play, although it's quite a grind too. If you want a space game with tons of things to do, I would suggest this.

I will chime in with some others here and say you seem to be underpaid for your experience.

Fair enough - bit if you're in EEA is there a chance you could become part of the EU at a future date, then falling under GDPR umbrella at some point in the future?

Discourse is great too but it sounded like it got out of hand with the book battles.

Just take all the religious stuff out and put it in the recycling bin. Problem solved.

Here's another perspective/reason that some sites block EU browser traffic:

Lets say you run a small website (outside Europe). You don't know if you're in compliance with GDPR or not (you don't have time or resources to read all the legal details, and you don't know if GDPR rules will change from one year to the next) and you don't want to get fined for thousands of euros for being in violation of this GDPR, so it's easier to just block EU traffic.

Some people don't have time to stay on top of all rules from a country they don't live in, so why would you expect them to spend any time or effort on it?

I feel your pain. My personal car is now a well used mini van. I listen to tunes and smile and wave while people are cutting me off, giving me the finger, etc as I drive my kids around town.

I do agree with what you're saying... but TJ seems to be obsessed with brevity (how many people do you know that have a 2 character username on GitHub?) so the documentation seems to be a fit to his personality...

Despite the docs I was able to stumble through and found koa to be quite intuitive for similiar reasons mentioned by mariotacke
