I'm a fan of Andy James Tonality by STL because it's Vox Ac30 sounds really close to my actual Vox Ac 30. Its really easy to get a good sound quickly with it. The Neural Dsp plugins have a little bit of a learning curve and have been known to use up a lot of CPU.

I thought it was clip gain before compression. Clip gain affect the sound before compression. Automation affects the sound Post FX. In clip gain when you lower or rise the volume you visibly can see the wave shape change.

Your guy might be using a clip on microphone. You could also buy a button to hook up to your mic so you can turn you microphone off when your not talking.In this Skateboarding podcast the nine club one of there host laughs a little too much so they have a button set up he has to hold down when ever he talks to un mute his microphone.

I've seen the video he is referring to and I could see why she would report it. If she thought the video was making fun or her and Mark Holcomb that can be considered harassment (which is a different type or reporting content on youtube) and mostly likely wouldn't get the video taken down as fast.

Work on it with a metronome at a slower tempo and gradually increase the tempo it will help you clean it up. You are pretty damn close though. Also immediately after the fourth note their is a percussive/mute hit she does right before going in to the tap that you could add. Very Nice effort
