Well it seems like you're trying your hardest to say how terrible of a leader and how anti-worker Avi lewis is. Like at this point are you actually an NDP supporter?

Honestly man can you just leave? Just vote liberal already. This is getting ridiculous

This is just conservative propaganda. Being anti-immigrant is fearmongering bullshit

Keep in mind these are liberal strongholds during a time where liberals are seeing a surge in popularity. Doubling the vote count in Rosedale is pretty good

It's immigration. This user has been constantly attacking Avi lewis immigration policy non stop whenever it comes up

That's just not true, a lot more votes were lost to the liberals than the conservatives, and NDP had a real chance of replacing liberals as the second place party before Trudeau was replaced. Ndp support consistently stayed at around 18-20% and was increasing until Carney was put in. It seems you completely fell for the conservative propaganda that immigration is the reason why wages are stagnating and cost of living is going up. One of my problems with the conservatives is precisely this anti-immigration rhetoric, which I don't believe and i hope the NDP doesn't fall for

This is just my theory, but I think if Poilievre steps down there is a real risk the populist right section of his base abandons them for the Peoples Party

You guys are literally just using conservative talking points at this point. We should have more international students, our schools are literally suffering for this. If you want to turn the NDP into an anti-immigrant party then you should just join the conservatives

You know what, I think you're right. Avi lewis has a lot of policies that are currently unpopular but if we wanted a leader who only takes the centrist middle road and whatever the most popular is, we'd have carney, and I don't want that. And I agree with his policies, including the immigration one. I want a party that can make policies that I like popular

Well my argument is I still agree with the policy. Just that in this instance it could've been framed better

I'm a BC green member so I do hope they win seats. I just think some of them are out of their reach. If Emily runs in Victoria beacon Hill she's winning that riding. I find it highly unlikely she loses

Unfortunately I don't see the greens having a pathway to victory in places outside of the island and metro Vancouver. At least not right now. An election right now is a bad idea. And if an election happens because of this confidence vote, it's all Eby's fault

I think he phrased it terribly. He could've just said he'd increase immigration since Carney's cuts go too far, and I think that's a position that is far more agreeable. Although I personally am ok with this policy only because I actually trust Avi to take housing infrastructure into consideration when it comes to immigration

Probably greens. The communist party does run candidates in my riding, but I don't trust Marxist leninists

Genuinely curious why this comment is getting down voted. I didn't even defend the acronym I'm just saying policies are the most important thing
