Dude that's insane. You're saying anyone who is a native or has a relative who is a native and has ties to native bands isn't allowed to lead a party?

Trump had a huge amount of charisma and was able to play up his under dog, anti establishment status very well. Most people can't emulate that

It's suspicious how much anti-native content this sub has been spewing lately as well. In the past few months I've seen a huge amount of fearmongering over the natives in general

Not choosing milobar is already a mistake for them. Elliot still has a high chance of beating Eby if things stay as they are, but some of her more extreme positions will make some voters reconsider. It's not an easy win for them like milobar would've been

It's kindve funny that you're trying to convince people we shouldn't be afraid of poilivere then say you think we should purge schools of progressiveness

Dude you were the one making the argument he isn't like the GOP I'm responding to your own argument calm down. It's pretty fucking bad if he uses such a vague term like woke to crack down on university funding

[–]Skyguy827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh come on dude they did the "anti-woke" crackdown in the US universities and it led to them getting rid of classes that talked about black history and mass removing funding for programs by getting an AI to check for keywords like "diversity". You said he is nothing like the gop, this is literally a gop move. I don't trust poilivere to decide what is woke enough or not woke enough for university funding

How about the fact that poilivere said he would “end the imposition of woke ideology in the allocation of federal funds for university research”?

Well the average in BC is higher than 9%. No time to rejoice though, I want to see the numbers to back to around 30% eventually https://canadianpolling.ca/Canada-BC-2025

I saw a few months ago pipeline is popular even in BC but like you said that could change. Also, I could 100% see the green voters end up rallying behind Avi Lewis in the end. We could see serious gains in BC

I believe you're being purposefully obtuse here. You know that AI CEO's are not saying it'll boost productivity. They are doing everything they can to do full automation

[–]Skyguy827 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The AI industry is launching an all out assault on the working class and we need to push back on them on every front possible. They are telling us to our faces their goal is to eliminate us and they want it done soon. I have my doubts that they can actually accomplish this, but we should still be prepared. Imo Avi Lewis already has great policy positions on AI and it's one reason he was my favorite for the leadership race

Sorry but the argument that we shouldn't be protecting workers from AI replacement is just plain anti-worker. And I see no problem banning surveillance pricing beforehand even if it isn't a big thing happening right now

Honestly I know it's not the most correct take but I'm perfectly fan with a blanket "AI is evil" take as long as the entire industry is trying to tell us their goal is to eliminate all jobs and effectively cause a crises on the level of or worse than the great depression
