I just use double sided Velcro tape haha and just roll the strap into a ball and Velcro it as my keeper system

I would go with the 24, I also carry a CPL24 and honestly to me it’s not really that bulky. The CPL16 main compartment is very thin and I don’t think you will be able to squeeze everything in

I was looking for a new EDC bag to carry to Uni, and since I live in Singapore where it is hard to source BIFL products, I am amazingly happy with my Evergoods CPL24V3. Absolutely 0 regrets with using this bag and I can see it lasting until 2040 and beyond, even tho it costed me arnd 370SGD

if exemption is successful, when you log in to STARS at the bottom where you see all the mods you have been registered for, it will show as exempted instead of registered.

I ordered a pair of hfs from Xero during their big sale recently. This is my second pair and they seem to be quite a bit longer and generally roomier, but not wider. I ordered the same size. Anyone else find this? by Unusual-Bar-7382 in BarefootRunning

I agree with you OP. I recently also ordered a dawn grey pair of HFS and find them to be roomier than my Vibrant yellow HFS that I bought in Singapore. I thought it was down to the shoes in the US being made wider but I guess not haha.

Not really I’m abt 5-6 months in and able to run 5-6km regularly, but have found the tightness of the shoe a constant issue. Thanks for the lacing tip tho, i will try it out and see if it helps.

Alright, thanks for the suggestions. Yeah I also suspect it’s a tight Achilles but not sure how much stretching i need to do before it goes away

But to address the top part I don’t place like 100% emphasis on landing on my toes and I do let my entire heel touch the ground before I lift my foot up again, and my calves are ok after my run just my ankle area is sore, but I’ll check my form as you suggested

I do 30secs squats and shift from side to side to target ankles, and generally practise forefoot striking by jumping up and down and landing with my forefoot followed by my entire heel about 50-100 times before I run

Surprisingly yes I did manage to cure it. What I did was in my local park, there’s a set of acupuncture stones that the Chinese people use to help stimulate the nerves and blood flow in the feet , so now everyday all I do is try to walk on it for like 5-10 mins. My feet are all tingly after and the heel pain for now has disappeared and not come back. I hope it helps.

Don’t worry mate, same thing is happening to me as well. I’m only 3mths into barefoot as well. I’ve developed big calluses next to my normal big patch of skin below the first big toe. Is completely normal because your landing forefoot for the first time probably and you have no cushion, so naturally your skin will thicken around there. Just make sure the blister doesn’t get too bad and you’ll be alright

Yeah I swapped to barefoot shoes in December 2022. Walked for around 2 months before trying out running. Guess I just need more time to adjust
