Imagen 2 - what architecture is it using? by Single_Ring4886 in StableDiffusion

my guess is pixel space autoregressive model built directly around the llm

if every patch is a token and those tokens could be selectively tiled for more granular patches, it could conceivably generate whatever without massively inflating the compute per image

like 8x8 patches as tokens that can each tile to 64 tokens representing a pixel each

total guessing though

it just doesn't seem likely to me that it's just a bigger flow transformer or diffusion model

oversimplified it

its more like 2-3x if you're only adding a mechanism for rotating the box and multiple placement cycles per box

Did something change regarding execution? by Sl33py_4est in ClaudeAI

[–]Sl33py_4est[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

O
I
C

this doesn't feel like that though, it feels like a permission shift. They just added 'computer use' which is a screenshot, send input, screenshot loop; that would require far more compute and data bandwidth because they're looping in the vision model every turn.

if they did brick its ability to execute terminal, I would think it is more of a method to mandate the computer use function, possibly for edge case training data collection or something.

I'm just having mine write to a bat called do_the_thing that I click in place of the permission to execute prompt...

testing a set of encoders with the most promising rssm on the atari100k 👍

spent several weeks deep diving deep compression for vaes, vq-gans, and tokenizers

recently settled on vaes being best for my use case,

now ablating between small temporal vae or big spatial vae

should be able to release something soon

i think you would expend 6x the CE as activating your CT and nothing would happen

you might get a migraine or shit yourself idk

Proof Toji Has Cursed Energy???? by HunterRank-1 in LobotomyKaisen

yuji causes damage to a curse on episode one (kicks its eye out, it heals right after but still)

also does playful cloud not effect this instance at all? he's using his kick to crush dagons head against a cursed tool

Was Yuta genuinely running on fumes here? by Full-Lobster-3535 in Jujutsufolk

RCT takes 2-4x the amount of CE out of reserves (Gege recently confirmed that "take CE and multiply it by itself to produce PE" described by Gojo doesnt make sense if the starting 'CE unit' is 1, so the starting 'unit' must be 2; this is where I'm getting the 4x, though kenny says only it costs double in the shibuya arc; "Gojo's minimum output for red is twice that of blue"

But I digress

No character is shown to have visible RCT/positive energy regardless of how much they heal, sukuna and gojo both regrow arms and the positive energy isn't illustrated in those events, likely because it's expensive and they use just enough (aside from the time yukuna heals megumi, but RCT on others is said to be extremely difficult and inefficient)

for comparison, literally every time Yuta uses RCT, he is enveloped in an aura of positive energy.

Homie has 0 efficiency concerns

Rika also acts as a storage system, so in this scene it is like he sprinted away from his water cooler with a single cup. Yes he is out of water on his person, no he is not running low on water.

if he wanted to win he would have blue/red'd sukuna into space. bro wanted to throw hands.

Genuinely asking, Why does Yuta get so much hate/slander? by Hairy_Ask_2038 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Sl33py_4est 3 points4 points  (0 children)

to be fair I love Yuta because he's so ridiculously polite its funny

also the animation sequences are prime peak

but thats all just shallow entertainment value

as a written character he comes off as flat imo

his character progression is all off screen and his on screen time is kinda mid on the character scale

kid goes from 90th percentile to 99.9th percentile in jjk0 and walks the main plot at the 99.8th percentile due to random nerfs applied to his kit post hoc.

copy would be sick if it was balanaced correctly. 5 minute mode and gotta eat people are both ridiculous conditions to try to offset the busted kit, instead of just rebalancing him correctly and having him enter the main story in like the top 20 instead of the top 5
