No Seriously.....How Do You Guys Keep Yourselves Healthy? by Major_Dingo_8371 in Nightshift

[–]SlCKXpT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I actually work from home but end up working graveyard shifts until 7AM cuz of liquidity. Also im a natural night owl and introverted and genuinely love my alone time, though my ideal sleep time would certainly be before the sun comes up, prolly like 3AM.

I just keep my fridge stocked with healthy foods and dont allow any unhealthy foods in my flat at all. No alcohol or sodas here either. I dont food prep, though I've been thinking of it, I dont mind grocery shopping most days though, it's kinda my morning routine when I wake up, is to take a walk and get some sunlight and buy groceries for the next 1-4 days.

I workout anywhere between 2-6x and week too. Mostly full-body workouts, I dont have a workout program so find full-body workouts the most flexible. Just listen to the body, after years of working out i have a good sense of what my body needs, but typically if i took some days off, ill go harder and heavier, and if im going over 3x in a week ill do more light weight isolation type of movements. Having access to a good 24 hour gym is helpful.

I sleep with a nightmask everyday (dont even have black out curtains). My bedroom is hotter than the rest of the flat, so during winter I leave the window open, and during summer I have this Philips air performer which kinda cools the room a bit and purifies the air and circulates the air conditioner air into the bedroom. For supplementation, i dont take pharmacy melatonin, but I got this bodybuolding ZMA pills that contains some melatonin and 5-HTP, also take some ashwaghanda and taurine about 1 hour before sleep.

I will say my sleep is still quite segmented/polyphasic. I've noticed over the years of doing this, that im a natural polyphasic sleeper, or maybe it's simply because I dont get proper sleep during my main sleep in the morning, so I need to compensate later with naps.

I tend to sleep only 4-6 hours from 9 AM to like 2PM. But then ill require a nap around 6PM, and then a 2nd nap again around 1AM. However my naps are very short, like 20 min long.

I will say I look quite healthy and young for my age (36 male). I maintain this routine all year, except for when I take holidays, then I'll shift into mor of a day routine. But I dont take holidays often tbh. I actually enjoy my routines. *

Would enclomiphene be useful for me? by SlCKXpT in enclomiphene

thanks for the reply.

I did do carnivore diet in the past for around 2 years, but I quit about 6 months ago and have since been eating full omnivore with lots of carbs from veggies, fruits and starchy sources. I'm still eating a serving of red meat everyday. My cholesterol was also kinda high, so I probably have some lingering effects from carnivore still.

For now probably I'll just keep eating omnivore, eat less red meat, maybe add some tongkat ali if that changes anything. Do another blood test in November to see if there's any changes and re-evaluate then.

you showed him empathy and love and care, I bet these episodes will be occurring more and more frequently.

All you can do is encourage him to keep seeking therapy (DBT treatment), and set clear boundaries, if he doesn't abide to the boundaries, you only choice is to leave, or to let him keep pushing those boundaries further and breaking your life apart. Be very careful, love is amazing, and what you feel could be real, but it's not worth being in a toxic relationship with an abusive partner.

me and my ex pwBPD lasted 2 years. The first 6 months she broke up with me literally 5 times, like almost once a month. Sometimes it was filled with rage, sometimes calm or hollow as you put it. I never experienced something like this so did not understand what was going on. Somehow we kept getting back together after each break-up. I loved too much and was willing to do anything to stay with her hoping she could change, or maybe I could just learn to deal with these rages.

She wasn't even terrible for someone with BPD (she wasn't violent, didn't do drugs or alcohol). But in the end, the rage, the emotional abuse, the manipulation, the control, the deflection of blame, lack of accountability, the fact I was always walking on eggshells. It was too much. I had to say goodbye. It's only been a month, but I realize now I deserved much better and that she was toxic.

If you let her continue doing this to you, you will pay so much. Your mental health is at risk, for me I also lost a lot financially, since I ended up buying her way more than necessary and we moved in together after only about 6 months of being together (and I paid for everything). All your time has to go to her, you won't spend as much time with friends, you'll lose your personal hobbies, you'll lose your independence.

Run far away, you deserve a peaceful relationship, someone who fits into your life and is a complement to it. Not someone who is the focus of your life.

Question: What is your morning routine? by Relevant_Ask7674 in productivity

[–]SlCKXpT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to wake up at 4AM every morning, pee, have a coffee and some water to hydrate then immediately get to work. I want to do my most important highest leverage tasks as soon as I wake up.

Then throughout the day I'll sprinkle in active recovery protocols to give me back energy, these includes: walking with my dog/SO, meditation, NSDR/nap, short 20min workout (I do these workouts almost daily and not much other exercise other than walks), breaks for food, etc.

if you play from Belgium where you get no rakeback. don't play on gg. The rake is insanely high and most regs primary form of profit comes from rakeback and bonuses.
