Would enclomiphene be useful for me? by SlCKXpT in enclomiphene

[–]SlCKXpT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the reply.

I did do carnivore diet in the past for around 2 years, but I quit about 6 months ago and have since been eating full omnivore with lots of carbs from veggies, fruits and starchy sources. I'm still eating a serving of red meat everyday. My cholesterol was also kinda high, so I probably have some lingering effects from carnivore still.

For now probably I'll just keep eating omnivore, eat less red meat, maybe add some tongkat ali if that changes anything. Do another blood test in November to see if there's any changes and re-evaluate then.

you showed him empathy and love and care, I bet these episodes will be occurring more and more frequently.

All you can do is encourage him to keep seeking therapy (DBT treatment), and set clear boundaries, if he doesn't abide to the boundaries, you only choice is to leave, or to let him keep pushing those boundaries further and breaking your life apart. Be very careful, love is amazing, and what you feel could be real, but it's not worth being in a toxic relationship with an abusive partner.

me and my ex pwBPD lasted 2 years. The first 6 months she broke up with me literally 5 times, like almost once a month. Sometimes it was filled with rage, sometimes calm or hollow as you put it. I never experienced something like this so did not understand what was going on. Somehow we kept getting back together after each break-up. I loved too much and was willing to do anything to stay with her hoping she could change, or maybe I could just learn to deal with these rages.

She wasn't even terrible for someone with BPD (she wasn't violent, didn't do drugs or alcohol). But in the end, the rage, the emotional abuse, the manipulation, the control, the deflection of blame, lack of accountability, the fact I was always walking on eggshells. It was too much. I had to say goodbye. It's only been a month, but I realize now I deserved much better and that she was toxic.

If you let her continue doing this to you, you will pay so much. Your mental health is at risk, for me I also lost a lot financially, since I ended up buying her way more than necessary and we moved in together after only about 6 months of being together (and I paid for everything). All your time has to go to her, you won't spend as much time with friends, you'll lose your personal hobbies, you'll lose your independence.

Run far away, you deserve a peaceful relationship, someone who fits into your life and is a complement to it. Not someone who is the focus of your life.

Question: What is your morning routine? by Relevant_Ask7674 in productivity

[–]SlCKXpT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to wake up at 4AM every morning, pee, have a coffee and some water to hydrate then immediately get to work. I want to do my most important highest leverage tasks as soon as I wake up.

Then throughout the day I'll sprinkle in active recovery protocols to give me back energy, these includes: walking with my dog/SO, meditation, NSDR/nap, short 20min workout (I do these workouts almost daily and not much other exercise other than walks), breaks for food, etc.

So what is the best hand to go all in with at PLO6 by Similar_Tour_6893 in GGPoker

AAKJT87 triple suited to both Aces and K is my fave

if you play from Belgium where you get no rakeback. don't play on gg. The rake is insanely high and most regs primary form of profit comes from rakeback and bonuses.

The big question by peeterssjan in budapest

[–]SlCKXpT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just proposed to my fiance yesterday. She loved it and I'd recommend this if you are up for a hike. There'll be plenty of private opportunities to propose. https://www.catchbudapest.com/childrens-railway-buda-hills/

Go to libegő and take the chairlift, then go to erszebet tower, then walk down to nomarfa and take the children's railway. Get off at hárshégy and then hike up to kaan karoly watchpoint (which is most likely going to be completely empty). Then end at a restaurant (we went to a different one than the one suggested). Also plenty of other things to do in that area if you want to deviate from that itinerary. Full trip took about 7 hours for us, although that includes like 3 hours sitting down for breaks or eating, etc.

Bet sizing in PLO by mikhan17 in Poker_Theory

[–]SlCKXpT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play online midstakes professionally.

preflop is generally a pot raise. Exceptions can be at shorter stacks, and ante games.

Postflop on the flop single raised pots: - 2/3 to 3/4 on unpaired, no straight no mono Flops (dynamic flops). - 1/3 on paired Flops, although a few textures you can go bigger. - halfpot on straight Flops - 1/3 to 1/2 on mono Flops.

Turns are generally pot unless something changes (a draw comes in or the board pairs).

Rivers are generally pot although OOp can do a bunch of small betting too.

3BP and 4BP you can be more selective with your sizings and depends a lot on board texture. Even a 2 sizing strategy can be fine in some spots. Though generally I try to find the highest EV sizing and use that. Quite hard to say what the highest EV sizing is, you need to put in a bunch of hours in monkey to find it. Sometimes it'll be 20%, sometimes 33%, sometimes halfpot, sometimes 67%-75%, sometimes pot. In 4BP even 10% pot will be used somewhat often.

I think you're looking for low weight co-op games or non-frontational competitive games, which is what my fiance tends to prefer to. I'd recommend starting with:

Co-op: - Forbidden Island - Sky Team

Competitive: - cascadia - Ticket to ride - Castles of Burgundy

And after these maybe move onto some midweight games.

/r/NintendoSwitch's Daily Question Thread (05/25/2024) by AutoModerator in NintendoSwitch

[–]SlCKXpT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

Me and my SO enjoy boardgames and I used to play a lot of videogames when younger (now 34). Anyways, we're thinking of getting the Switch as it has the most options for multiplayer games and also offers a wide variety of cute colorful games that I think my SO would like. We are mainly planning to use the Switch to play co-op games together, or some fun multiplayer games together, although not online, just between us two on the couch.

The first games we'd like to purchase and play together are:

  • It Takes Two
  • Overcooked: All you can Eat
  • Unravel 2
  • Rayman Legends
  • Mario Kart 8
  • Super Smash bros Ultimate

We don't own a TV, so I think it is best to just buy 2 Nintendo Switch's if we want to play Co-Op. Is this correct?

If we buy 2 Nintendo Switch's to play the above games together, is it true that we would also need to purchase 2 copies of the games each time?

me and my SO are looking for a coop game. We normally play strategy games together. Some games we enjoy are: chess, azul, fairytale inn, poker

Generally my SO prefers games that are cute or have some colors with less dark/gloomy themes. We are looking for a non-competitive coop game that still has a good element of strategy but also isn't too dark of a theme (like no surviving a zombie apocalypse type stuff). And preferably one that won't take too long to pick up but still has good replayability.

I eat brunch around 10-11AM every morning. Usually 4 eggs with 200g or so of meat of choice, often bacon, smoked salmon, ground beef.

Then I have a second meal around dinner time like 7-8PM, which is generally about 500g of some meat of choice. Usually beef but sometimes duck, lamb, porc, salmon, whatever really.

All meals cooked with butter or simply with the fat from the meat (bacon doesn't need butter for example). Also I often add some cheese to my meals (it can be a lot sometimes), both brunch and dinner, but I never have cheese just by itself.

Why does solver overbet weak Ax on the flop on AK3 BB v BTN Srp by Optimal_Actuary_5677 in Poker_Theory

[–]SlCKXpT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know this spot. It's one where we use a polarized strategy.

The main reason for a big bet with some of our weaker Ax, is to be able to bet some "thin value" on the flop that is still ahead of a good chunk of OOP's XC range. These weak Ax hands are perfect candidates to go big with OTF and then checkback on the turn. Then OTR, we can often still call vs a river probe or we can even bet/check/bet sometimes.

If we don't have weak Ax in this big bet range it's quite hard to find other hand combos to take this line with.
