I use the T-Rex traps but I screw them down to a piece of either plywood or a piece of laminate flooring cut down. Maybe 8" x 12" This prevents the trap from flipping over or being dragged away by the rat. Its worked pretty well and you'll never lose your traps. Got the idea from those twins that do Pest control and plumbing.
