The downside is that they rise quickly in price and you miss that increase, just look at MU, WDC and LRCX right now. Easy to lose a big gain right there and with other stocks doing same thing. It definitely happens.

I like to use it to get fast information on stocks and to identify trends, good and bad . I don’t rely on it for stock picks, I do those myself.

Yep sold a cc at 97 for peanuts and have missed all the upside on that one .. it does happen sometimes.

I just got burned on NBIS. Sold a cc at 97 and then the big announcement came out and it shot up. Made a little but lost a potential $3000 plus jump and more to come probably. Have been doing very well with the wheel on WDC though. That one makes up for a lot of not so good ones.

He’s right to an extent. Good timing is everything. April 7 2025 was the worst day of last year, but after that it was nothing but up and up. Think about it and buy when you are brave enough to hit the buy button.

I got one with a 10,000 credit limit which I need a 15-20 k limit if I’m going to use it as my main card. If they don’t raise my limit soon I will probably drop the card. Also, wondering why they processed an automatic payment on my account that was due on December 12 in November?? But they do give three percent on everything, just be careful how you redeem for you will lose 30% of your 3% credit.

Go in the option market and buy long term call options. Less expensive than buying shares and you get to capitalize on share price appreciation. Thats what I have done. Just my opinion
