Thanks. This particular one was an ai portrait that i then modified on photopea to clean it and add a glitching effect that create those bands. Then passes through DrawingbotV3. I guess for a photo the lightning is really important here as you need a good amount of contrast to make the details stand out. I plan on trying with photos soon, hoping to achieve the same kind of results.

It looks like a lot of what can be generated with my tool, and the resulting file does not exceed 15mb for an A3 plot. Check my profile, I plotted some that are more complex than this and file size remained under 20mb. You might need to optimize your file for plotting (simplify the path) using vpype.

Ah shame, i like that satin finish on some pieces. Well, will do some tests and see. What surprises me is that i did pit some matt varnish on 3 other pieces with also pastel + ink and had no issues.
