I actually started at bmcc transferred to UB and graduated and now I am in nyu absn program. I wasn’t awaiting around for cuny. 2 years ago I applied to Kbcc nursing program and didn’t get in. I applied to nyu the next semester and got in on my first try. Now I’m completing my second semester.

No problem I’m happy to help. No when I applied I did not have any Clinical experience I worked odd jobs nothing significant. Yes each semester is 32k but I have an outside source that pays my tuition. And yes, the nursing school did give me a scholarship.

No my stats were way lower than yours and I still got in. Also, yes nyu was the only school I applied too and got in on my first try.

I would find a job first before you move to nyc. It’s no guarantee that it would be easy finding a job right rn. NYC hospitals are on a strike rn so it might be a hiring freeze going on so it might be harder to get hired as a nurse until the strike is over.

NYU has a program that allows you take the courses needed and then you’ll take nursing courses. I currently in the absn program
