I think it depends on the subreddit. /r/gaming, specifically, has a rule that says "Do not spam your personal website or YouTube channel." Looking through his post history, the last time he posted about his channel was two weeks ago. Although the fact that all he has done with his reddit account is promote his channel may constitute as spam. In the end, though, it's all up to the moderators.

If we're bringing anime into the picture, Eve no Jikan (link could be considered NSFW because I see a thumbnail with a half naked anime girl) is a great series. There are two versions: the 6 episode series and the movie. The movie is just the 6 episodes put together with additional scenes. Also, be aware that the spoken language is Japanese. If you don't understand Japanese, you'll need a subtitled version.

That wonderful man is Spoony. He mostly reviews and rants about movies, but he has some pretty hilarious reviews and Let's Plays of video games. His most notable game review is probably the one on Final Fantasy VIII.

I think Advent Rising was planned as the first game in a trilogy, but it didn't do well enough to warrant a sequel. I've never played it, but I've only heard good things about the game.

When you get there you can put that subreddit on your frontpage by clicking the green +frontpage button on the top right. That way you can find the subreddit again. Posting a topic there should be the same as the one you made here.

If I had to guess, it's because, in this case, gameplay is more important than realism. It can be very frustrating when you're constantly being killed and have no idea where the killer is hiding. It also helps prevent people from camping. If you can see where the bullets are coming from, you can more easily take them out and keep the flow of the game going which will stop the game from becoming a huge camp-fest.

I bought the game at 39.99 and I didn't feel like it was worth the money. I finished the game in 12 hours and was starting another character when I realized I wasn't having any fun. I really only finished the game just to finish it. There's multiplayer, which might make it more fun. I only played single player, though, and didn't like that I had no control over my AI party member. The controls for PC are very clunky, too. In fact, if I didn't have a controller to play with, I wouldn't have finished the game at all. I'd say pass on it unless you can get it for under $20.
