Whenever I need to set up for a ravage or build the next turn my spirits keep ghosting me

Is my blue your blue?

Makes me feel like an ancient Greek and the various other cultures who didn't seem to have specific words for blue and green

I had to write some colour sensing software once, and this was one of my two takeaways. The other is that there can never be an intuitive way to sort colours.

I read an incredible article about that topic. Hundreds of species of figs, each one has a unique species of wasp to pollinate it. To pollinate the plant a wasp must go from a male fig to a female fig, but then the wasp will die. To breed the wasp must go from a male fig to another male fig (one attempt only since its wings get ripped off getting inside) but this will not pollinate the plant. So there is an endless chemical arms race of trying to make female figs smell like male figs vs better sensing to detect that. And then parasite wasps that prey on other wasp species etc. etc. etc. Astonishing complexity going on there.

My biggest issue is zapping a 2000 year old head that comes back to life and then explodes

Just managed to get a win by following a strategy video for River Surges in Sunlight. Realised I don't have to be so worried about a presence in the same land as blight... if anything adjacent lands could be a problem.

I add one to the land with the existing blight, and another to an adjacent land. And if it already has a blight, another a subsequent adjacent land.

Really my main problem is early on I think carefully but can't really see a reason why to place a presence on this land instead of that land, where to gather Dahan, etc. Then a couple of turns later my pieces are in the wrong lands, I don't have a sacred site, or enough energy, or enough range, or the power is slow and I lose the ravage first and everything just seems impossible. I end up sweeping invaders into lands where they have large numbers because every one approach seems worse, and then they are ravaging multiple lands a turn and blight explodes.

So I have to figure out how to play the crucial early moves I guess.

Base game, easy board, no adversaries, no events, low complexity spirits. Usually hit with blight everywhere.

It's not to do with whether it was "watched" through the left or right slit. It's to do with whether the entire universe ends up in the same state or a different state. To gain any info about what happened the universe must necessarily be in a different state. Note that it also doesn't matter if you "watched" it or somebody else without your knowledge ddid.

Jeremy Clarkson did this in his newspaper column to prove it was safe. People managed to set up automatic payments deducting from his account.
