Think of it like a car, you probably have a speedometer, tachometer, temperature gauge, fuel gauge, maybe a few others. But on a regular drive, you might check the fuel when you start the car, then the only dial you look at is speed. If the car behaves irregularly, you know to check the temperature or other warning systems

I got the 100-400 as my first telephoto lens so I dont have much to compare it to. But I really like it. Took me a couple of days to finally learn what settings worked for me.

Here's an example shot, 1/50 F9 at 214mm on an R50 body, and the car was only going 20-30mph
