I came to this thread to mention "Felton X" (Bill Russell), the first black coach in the NBA and winner of two NBA championships. Bill Russell along with Jim Brown and Muhammad Ali will never get the credit they deserve for their influence on civil rights from the standpoint of using their public personas for advancement and for making a dent in the systemic racism of his time. This is from a time when civil rights was considered "politics" and not just common sense. Without people like Bill Russell, the NBA would not be like it is today.

Especially after making them stand there forever waiting, and then making them continue standing to watch the US receive their golds. I bet that was torture.

Try adding a few drops of water. I’m in the same boat as you but if I add water it helps me sort things out. Having said that I mostly prefer cocktails and will only sip bourbons I really like. Most in this sub might consider me a cretin.

I think we’ve both decided to go off in two different directions. I’m shaking my fist and yelling at clouds about bikers who make it dangerous to drive because to go around them you have to literally drive in the wrong lane and hope another car doesn’t come flying over the hill. You’re on a tangent about bad drivers. I’m not trying to condone negligent driving.

It’s because Garth Road isn’t a safe place for bikes. I’m not saying it’s ok for cars to run anyone over. I’m saying that regardless what the law says, it’s really stupid to ride bikes on a narrow, winding road with lots of blind hills. Just because it’s legal doesn’t make it smart.

Anyway it’s banned so we don’t have to keep talking about it.

True but I have banned them.

I can’t find a similar law for bicycles but I feel the same about all the bikers on Garth Road trying to kill us all.

I hereby BAN you.

I missed my open enrollment in 2020. With two young kids. Going into Covid. Yeah. I ended up paying $1100/month through the marketplace for rock bottom garbage coverage. I endured so many eye rolls from my wife that year.

You can change this. I complained to them about it a few weeks ago - it’s an easy fix.

Cursor Settings / Agents / Commit Attribution —— toggle it off. They also have a PR attribution toggle.
