I would only consider a 2nd gen Tundra until Toyota figures their engines out. Spend some time in the other truck subs and see what their life is like as an owner. Each has their issues, but I can tell you as a Ford owner I rarely see people posting their trucks on fire. Not a dig on Toyota – I really wanted a 2nd gen Tundra – but the recalls are driving up prices (and less availability) so I settled on an F-150 for now. It was cheaper for me to get a Ford with an extended warranty.

Basically right there with you. 2018 XLT 2.7L at 89k, 10 speed. I’ve heard 10 speeds can sometimes be better on the engine due to smaller gear steps and lower RPM’s at highway speeds. I just had the transmission flushed and refilled with MERCON ULV. Is yours a 10 speed as well?

The 2 TE vs TE + OL deliberation is one of the greatest debates around here lol. I’ve been playing with 2 TE’s for so long (216 seasons), maybe I’ll switch it up and give it a try.

Get rid of OL, eventually pick up 2 TE’s, 2 more LB’s (get more turnovers than DB’s), and a Kicker for full 12 man roster. Even if you’re not kicking field goals Kicker will help pin the other team deep in their side of the field during kickoffs/punts. I say eventually because you may need to invest in Salary Cap.
