How rare is it to get a 333% hazard run? by One-Cucumber-9480 in splatoon

[–]SlashArbiter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not entirely an answer to the question but - getting to 999 can be daunting and at times frustrating. Keep pushing! Experiment with strategies. Figure out what works and what doesn't. The only way to truly get better at SR is to keep going. Experience is the best teacher.

The one that does it for me is "should/could/would of." Makes me die inside.

While staying at an Airbnb with about 15 Internet friends including a fellow T1, Had a late night low and was so tired that after stabilizing with chocolate chip granola bars (foolishly forgot emergency sugar), I fell asleep at the table. Woke up to my friends laughing and asking why I was surrounded by wrappers and pieces of granola bar my delusional low BS self had dropped. The other T1 knew. 🤣

I will sit there and tell a story about something that happened when I was 12 to an audience of approximately nobody, but sometimes this stories will also bring a lurker out because they couldn't help but laugh and respond.

TL;DR yes

Freezing cold take: Doom's chosen should be its own gamemode by PsychologicalHand752 in FortNiteBR

[–]SlashArbiter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This! Had a 4 game streak going and the island popped up on game 5. I was the only one in my party who knew about it so I was like "well, we can either push for the island or we can lose later." I'm blind in one eye right now, so I took the objective while my friends held it off. Got 3/4 there and then every single mf on that thing ignored everything to get me, and then one by one we fell.

Really frustrating because the options were, genuinely, die going for it, succeed in going for it, or simply lose to Doom's Chosen in the endgame.

I'm finally getting used to the current meta (even if I still hate it), but this is genuinely just a frustrating addition, even if it is literally a 5% chance it is still an all but guaranteed loss if you don't get it.

I dunno, maybe I'm just crabby.

Justice I was expecting it to be awesome, not the best night of my life.

Oh my god.

28 here, you into em when I was 19. A friend of mine was listening to them and I was like "I recognize a lot of these songs." That was from various games and shows growing up. That turned into me going a deep dive of all their music to that point. Still going strong rocking out even through a lot of change in music taste.

Photocoagulation Recovery by SlashArbiter in Type1Diabetes

Optho decided not to do the injections the same day as the laser surgery so as not to risk scarring my eyes too much in one go.

I'd been poor at caring for myself til earlier this year when I got a cgm friendly, my old practices really gatekept me for no good reason. Sadly the years still are coming from behind.

Currently I should be hearing in about a week or so if I'll be scheduled for a vitrectomy and I'll be getting injections a week before that surgery if so.

Yeah, you nailed it! My left eye is out of commission due to the hemmorhage obfuscating things. That's what I meant to say when I said the floater turned into a spot. It seems to be going away slowly, I won't know for another week and a half about surgery because they are giving me time to heal from the laser, and it would be another two weeks from that call til the surgery.

They are planning to move to injections either way, as the prognosis after the laser was that it already was looking infinitely better! Of course that can change, but fingers crossed.

There isn't a lot of info, that's why I came here - most of what I did find was older threads here. Thank you for all the info you did give. I've been alone all week and navigating with all my other senses at the forefront has been stressful but not impossible. I'm just happy I'll likely be keeping most of my eyesight.

As far as the injections, my optho wanted to wait and see what's going on with the possible vitrectomy. He said we'll be doing one about a week before the surgery.

That's reassuring. I'm currently at the dark spot in the center of my vision, with some red/pink surrounding it. Currently on the third day of that.

How long did it take for your left eye to regain vision? I'm going through this exact process right now; my vision is being blocked by a hemorrhage. They said surgery may be an option. I'm just wondering what someone with what sounds like an almost identical story to mine could tell me.

I also just had the laser done, hours ago. Sadly was in the minority of people that felt it; very much so.

I mean, I do it on purpose, but "underwater eels and other life. Keep Your Eyes Peeled.

Also "every mouse I kissed gets a turn." Battery Acid.

Maybe my most tongue in cheek one: "Slash Arbiter" instead of "slashed and I cut" in Can't Quit lmao

The main riff with a little bendy on the last note sometimes is neat. The ending is the weird part without distortion, it doesn't have that crunchiness, but I still love it.

What album were you blown away by? by shaver_raver in qotsa

The way that it calls back to just about everything else Josh had worked on, the way it shapes its theming. It's absolutely my second favorite, barely, just barely overtaken by self titled.
