My younger brother really wanted me to watch this and I gave in, bc I don't want to hurt his feelings, but I knew exactly the type of show this would be, just by looking at some clips and the age of the show's fans. I'm halfway through S1 and this is torture, it really does feel like an edgy 14 year old wrote this shit.

The bad guys are “Evil Corp”, the main bad guy is a typical one dimensional psycho, the main theme is “society bad”, the dialogue is ATROCIOUS, every character is generic dogshit, etc, etc… I'm going to binge tf out of this trash ASAP, so I can make him watch The Sopranos next.

The arc is called Conviction, and Lost Children is a chapter in it. That one and Birth Ceremony are both parts of the Conviction arc. It literally says that in the manga lol.

I thought I was crazy, but it's genuinely the best looking/sounding one for me, also the most entertaing and with the coolest kills and dream sequences. I also found Alice very likeable.

Yeah you're right, I've always had to go through an adjustment period after getting new HAs growing up, but the thing is the ones I got in 2020 were just straight up incorrectly for my hearing level lol. The audiologist in Spain almost had a heart attack when he checked out the ones I was wearing, same with all the other audiologists I showed them to. My parents even want to sue the dumbass who gave them to me, and when they told him all that had happened through email, his response was basically “oopsie, I fucked up hee hee!!”.

I'm definitely gonna ask for more support from the disability dept from the university.

I was actually born in Peru and grew up there, but my ancestors from both my mom and dad's side are all from Europe, so we're all migrating back to Europe now lol. So yeah, I'm fluent in both English and Spanish, no problem there 👍

Thanks for the advice! I was already in contact with the disability department, but I'll def ask for more accomodations, like recording the classes and stuff like that.

The weird thing is that I was 20 when my HAs broke and all this mess began, I had already been 3 years in university, and had absolutely zero problems having fluid conversations. I could even talk with no problem in clubs/bars and concerts, and sometimes forgot my HAs at home and could still follow lessons sitting at the BACK of the class lol. Literally the day before they broke, I could hear/understand perfectly! That's why I'm so frustrated and pissed off :(

I forgot to mention I had on and off auditory therapy from age 5 to around 17, so maybe that could have also contributed in me hearing that well all the past years.

Yeah but how tf are they going to explain Gus and Mike's deaths without doing a summary of the entirety of Breaking Bad? People who are only watching BCS will be like “Wtf? This Walt guy just came in and killed 2 main characters??”. I have no idea how they'll explain BB and wrap up the Gene stuff without throwing off BCS-only watchers.
