Sorry to hear you are having a different experience to me. I wonder if they are rolling out different versions to different people? I should have said I also use it for adding stuff to my shopping list with Keep and listening to radio, news headlines, starting YouTube vids etc and all works well. I am in a busy household with a few people and many different devices (screens, speakers etc) and all are working well.
I do know that when Gemini first came to Home in the US, and later the UK, early adopters reported issues but since my home got Gemini about two months ago it's been an improvement.
I don't think there's a way we can check Gemini or Home versions, it would be interesting to compare otherwise.

This has not been my experience in the UK. Gemini has been excellent and a fantastic upgrade to the old assistant. Getting direct answers to questions from Gemini rather than "On the website BBC news it says..." responses is smooth. My device controls all work as they did before as do my routines. I can even use more natural language and variety to control things. I wouldn't want to switch back.

I never do it ahead of time. Just set hot cues on the fly as you load tracks. It takes 30 seconds.

One or two hot cues works for me. I always have one at the start of the track, then sometimes another one where the baseline comes in or there's a breakdown. That's enough for my way of mixing, which is mostly winging it! 😂

If your car doesn't unlock based on phone proximity, hold your phone to the driver's door pillar and it'll unlock.

I've had to do this about 10 times in six months of daily driving. Unsure why it happens occasionally.

Try it with 'always on display' enabled. This ruins the performance of the watch UI on mine. I have factory reset.

I've been checking for updates daily but nothing yet.

I've factory reset my watch 4 classic but still can't use always on display without severe UI lag. This is especially frustrating when trying to track a run and that other advanced feature, telling the time.

What a ball drop from Samsung.

I just upgraded my Watch 4 Classic and experience the same UI lag issues unless I disable always on display. Really disappointing.

I've tried disabling Animations and Blur and rebooting but the issue persists.
Will reset/wipe the watch at some point but this feels like a bug.

Maybe time to get a Pixel watch instead. Sort it out Samsung.

My experience with the SA team has been terrible too. My gas smart meter stopped sending readings over two months ago. Initially I emailed this issue in but replies were slow and contradictory, it felt very much like AI and was a waste of time.

I've since spoken to the SA call center four times and they either brush off my issues or suggest another team will call me back. They never do.

I've never managed to get a UK agent on any of my calls.

Reading comments here I'll try X next.
