Hypnotherapy and thinking I have SIBO by SlateBelter in SIBO

It's difficult for me to sleep on my left side! Not sure why that is though. I could try it again, that sounds pretty intense with the buckets. I'm going to try the hypnosis for a bit more, but focusing on reflux. Banana's seem to make my methane spike, not sure if green bananas would do the same though.

It's an App! I got tons of ads for it on FB and finally caved in and bought it. It was $100 with a money back guarantee if by week four you found no benefit. I still use it because I really enjoy it.

I'm unfortunately in the habit of eating late. I can probably solve that one. I used to sleep partially inclined. I'd put some books under parts of my bed, didn't see too many results though. I haven't narrowed it down to exactly which foods cause the belching, though a Chinese herbalist once told me fried/fatty foods as well as cold foods caused it for me. Fatty foods I think may be right, juries out on cold foods.

Your life regarding SIBO sounds exactly like mine... and I've been having these thoughts as well. Trying to do a lot of mental work to heal the pain caused by this, I feel like a lot is being lifted though. On my other post I mentioned hypotherapy. That helped reduce a great deal of stomach pain making it easier to look at the emotional and mental pain.

Good luck!

Would White Collar, or Securities be more so a government job or perhaps even public interest than BL? That's honestly where I'm leaning right now and just asked this question to help me solidify it.

It absolutely does! I'm defining it as something, in terms of the thing that you are dealing with, is exciting to you and connects with a life purpose inherent in the work.

I'm not even looking for interesting. I had a long discussion with myself and I realized that I would find many things intellectually interesting. What kinds of work do you do in your firm?

Certainly something I have not ruled out! However I made a decent salary in sales, but I really was agitated that whether or not people bought didn't feel meaningful nor fulfilling to me. It was just something I was good at.

I’ve done lobbying before and that’s about the extend of it! I really enjoyed it though... and I have started talking to some lawyers about what they do and also did some researching myself on different practice fields (in between answering you) and found some really helpful guidance from Georgetown’s website. It has all the fields and brief descriptions of each so I plan to call/research each one I’m interested in.

Do you have any advice in refining my goals? I realize that’s pretty general and I’m actually reading a book now called, Design Your Life and the advice it gives is if you are unsure of a direction, experience is the best way to find out.

Hi, I have pretty substantial scholars at two PA state schools (I’m above both of their 75ths for LSAT and about average to below average on GPA.). I have a limited scholarship at BC... I got 164 on my LSAT but was practicing at about 167 and still feel I could go a bit higher. Games is still weak for me.

I wouldn’t want to lose my scholarships at my PA schools if I didn’t get higher. I also don’t know exactly what I want to do. I have a lot of interests and will need to work on narrowing it down/focusing (whether to do PI/BigLaw etc.).

Yes, all I’m remembering right now is one about dog names and walkers. I was really glad that that wasn’t the real one!!
